Abstract
La invención se refiere a una fibra de acero para reforzar hormigón o mortero. La fibra tiene una porción media y extremos de anclaje. La porción media tiene una capacidad máxima de carga Fm y un alargamiento en la carga máxima Ag+e. El alargamiento en la carga máxima Ag+e es por lo menos 2.5%. La fibra de acero tiene una fuerza de anclaje en el hormigón o el mortero de por lo menos 90% de la capacidad de carga máxima Fm. La fuerza de anclaje es la carga máxima obtenida durante el ensayo de arranque de una fibra de acero incrustada con uno de los extremos de anclaje en el hormigón o el mortero. La fibra de acero tiene la ventaja de que puede utilizarse en dosis normales en estructuras que transportan una carga de hormigón.
