Abstract
Un sistema y método que detecta chorros de tinta ausentes y un sistema generador de imágenes de chorro de tinta. El sistema y método generan imágenes digitales de documentos impresos que no tienen datos de patrón de prueba que no tienen dentro de ellos. Las imágenes digitales son procesadas para detectar rayas claras y las posiciones de las rayas claras son correlacionadas con posiciones de chorro de tinta en las cabezas de impresión. La identificación del color de la tinta asociado con las posiciones de chorro de tinta correlacionadas se obtiene con el análisis de imágenes de color separadas y/o errores de color.
