Abstract
Un método para detectar el desplazamiento de la cabeza de impresión que comienza con la formación de un patrón de prueba sobe una superficie receptora de imágenes. El patrón de prueba incluye una pluralidad de marcas arregladas sobre la superficie receptora de imágenes en una dirección de proceso cruzado con cada marca en la pluralidad estando formado por una boquilla diferente de una cabeza de impresión. Las posiciones en la dirección de proceso cruzado en cada marca en la pluralidad de marcas son entonces detectadas; y las posiciones en la dirección de proceso cruzado detectadas son correlacionadas con un valor de desplazamiento de la cabeza de impresión para la cabeza de impresión.
