Abstract
La invención se refiere a una unidad (10) absorbedora de energía, especialmente para usarla en combinación con un amortiguador UIC o un amortiguador lateral (100). La finalidad de la invención es proveer un elemento adicional irreversible, absorbedor de golpes, para combinarlo, por ejemplo, con un amortiguador UIC, que puede ser actualizado. De acuerdo con la invención, una unidad (10) absorbedora de energía tiene una placa de base (2) para conectar la unidad (10) absorbedora de energía con el marco de soporte o bogie (101) de la superestructura, de preferencia de una manera desprendible; una placa conectora (1) a la que se puede conectar, por ejemplo, el amortiguador UIC (100), y un elemento (3) absorbedor de energía, del tipo que se destruye, que está tensado entre la placa de base (2) y la placa conectora (1), sin juego.
