Abstract

Se describen técnicas para multiplexar y transmitir múltiples corrientes de datos. La transmisión de las múltiples corrientes de datos se presenta en "súper-tramas". Cada súper-trama tiene una duración predeterminada y se divide en múltiples (por ejemplo, cuatro) tramas. Cada bloque de datos para cada corriente de datos se codifica externamente para generar un bloque de códigos correspondiente. Cada bloque de códigos se divide en múltiples sub-bloques, y cada paquete de datos en cada bloque de códigos se codifica internamente y se modula para generar símbolos de modulación del paquete. Los múltiples sub-bloques para cada bloque de códigos se transmiten en las múltiples tramas de la misma súper-trama, un sub-bloque por trama. Cada corriente de datos se le asigna un número de unidades de transmisión en cada súper-trama y se asignan unidades de transmisión específicas hasta alcanzar un empacado eficiente. Un dispositivo inalámbrico puede seleccionar y recibir corrientes de datos individuales.
