Abstract
La invención se refiere a un dispositivo de soldadura por ultrasonido (19) así como a un procedimiento para conectar de forma eléctricamente conductora cables trenzados formados por hilos trenzados o alambres individuales (32, 34) consistentes de aluminio o aleaciones de aluminio con un portador en forma de U (40) consistente de metal, mediante soldadura de ultrasonido. Se utiliza un sonotrodo (78) cuya superficie de soldadura (80) tiene la forma de un trapecio abierto con un ramal base corto como superficie de fondo (86). Durante la soldadura de la superficie del fondo las superficies laterales (88,90) forman con el un ángulo agudo, en donde la superficie transversal total FL de los cables trenzados colocados en el portador en forma de U en estado soldado a la superficie transversal E3 del espacio rodeado por la superficie de fondo y las superficies laterales de la superficie de soldadura asciende a Fs < FL< 2Fs.
