Abstract

La modalidad de MEWT preferida de los solicitantes comprende: una turbina con forma aerodin?mica con carenado de admisi?n; un anillo de ?labes de estator; un anilllo de aspas giratorias (es decir, un impulsor) en l?nea con los ?labes de estator; y una bomba mezcladora/expulsora para aumentar el volumen de flujo a trav?s de la turbina al tiempo que mezcla r?pidamente el flujo de salida de la turbina de baja energ?a con el flujo e?lico de desv?o de alta energ?a. La MEWT puede producir tres o m?s veces la energ?a de sus contrapartes no carenadas para la misma ?rea frontal, y puede aumentar la productividad de los parques e?licos por un factor de dos o m?s.
