Abstract

La invención se refiere a un vidrio transparente (1) que tiene un recubrimiento (2) calentador eléctrico que se extiende sobre una gran porción de la superficie del vidrio, en particular en el campo de visión (4R), y que está conectado eléctricamente con al menos dos conectores colectores que tienen una baja resistencia eléctrica (5, 6) de manera que, después de aplicar un suministro de voltaje eléctrico a los conductores colectores, una corriente eléctrica fluye en el campo de calentamiento definido por el recubrimiento. De acuerdo con la invención, se proporciona un miembro calentador (7) con miembros conductores (8, 8') de baja resistencia eléctrica, tales como alambres y/o vías conductoras impresas, en un área de la superficie que no es calentada por el recubrimiento (2) y preferiblemente ubicados en el borde del vidrio transparente (1) sobre la misma cara que el recubrimiento (2). Por lo tanto es posible obtener un calentamiento independiente de esa área de la superficie mientras se acortan las vías de la corriente en el recubrimiento con una resistencia eléctrica relativamente alta.
