Abstract

La invención se relaciona con una rótula o una rótula de casquillo, por ejemplo, para un sistema de eje o para fijar un sistema de amortiguador de resorte en un vehículo automotor. La rótula posee un cuerpo (10) de rótula esencialmente anular o en forma de tarro, estando dispuesto en el interior esencialmente cilíndrico de éste un casco (11) esférico. El casco (11) esférico es fijado en el cuerpo (10) de rótula usando un anillo (12) de cierre, siendo alojada la esfera (3) de un perno (4) esférico o de un casquillo (9) esférico en el casco (11) esférico de manera que la esfera (3) pueda deslizarse. La rótula se caracteriza porque según la invención la superficie externa del casco (11) esférico y la región del extremo adyacente al anillo (12) de cierre es esencialmente lisa y cilíndrica, mientras que el anillo (12) de cierre tiene un dentado (14) en la cara frontal d éste mirando hacia el casco (11) esférico. La rótula según la invención ofrece ventajas con relación a la reducción de costes de producción y con relación a ahorrar espacio constructivo y reducir peso. Las cadenas de tolerancia en el área de la tapa de cuerpo, que también se reducen, simplifican la producción de las partes y reducen la tasa de desperdicio.
