Abstract
En un método para pretratar cargas contaminadas con portadores de carbono, tales como, por ejemplo, tierras, suelos, rocas o minerales contaminados con portadores de carbono que tienen bajos valores caloríficos para uso en horno de clinker, las cargas mencionadas se introducen en un reactor 8 y se calientan o secan con gases. Los gases calentados se extraen a temperaturas debajo de 1250°C, de preferencia entre 700 y 900°C, y la carga calentada o secada se evacúa por separado en temperaturas entre 500°C y 1000°C, en donde las temperaturas se fijan y mantienen para estabilizar la distribución de temperatura dentro del reactor 8 controlando el suministro de aire fresco, el suministro de agua o vapor de agua, controlando la velocidad de alimentación de la carga y/o de los gases de procesos tales como, por ejemplo, aire terciario así como también, si se requiere, quemando combustibles. Los gases extraídos del reactor 8 se recirculan por lo menos parcialmente en el reactor 8 y/o se suministran a una etapa de precalcinación y/o precalentamiento del horno de clinker (1).
