Un vehículo (10) guiado automático con un grupo elevador de tarimas múltiples mejorado que comprende un cuerpo (11) de máquina que se proporciona con un medio para su movimiento (12) y un grupo (13) elevador limitado al cuerpo (11) de máquina, por lo que el grupo (13) elevador comprende una estructura (14) de poste de nivel múltiple, una carretilla (15) elevadora, una placa (17) de inclinación la cual constituye la infraestructura de un grupo (18) de abrazadera de tarimas múltiples que se proporciona con tres pares (19', 19'', 19''') de horquillas (19) distribuidas de una manera especular con respecto a un plano (22) de línea central longitudinal del cuerpo (11) de la máquina y que se puede mover a lo largo de guías (20) horizontales limitadas a la infraestructura (17), el grupo (18) de abrazadera comprende, por cada par (19', 19'', 19''') de horquillas (9) dos accionadores (21) para el control independiente de cada horquilla (19), un par (24', 24'', 24''') de dos cremalleras (24) colocadas de manera opuesta y unidas integralmente a las horquillas (19) respectivas y por lo menos una rueda (23', 23'', 23''') dentada la cual se acopla al par de cremalleras (24', 24'', 24''') correspondientes.
