Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo (y sistema correspondiente) para reducir el consumo de combustible en un motor diesel (300) cuando se encuentra operando a menos de la energia total, el metodo comprendiendo la etapa de: ajustar (101) una viscosidad de un aceite de sistema (301) del motor (300) dando como resultado un aceite de sistema modificado (301'), en donde la viscosidad se ajusta de tal forma que la eficiencia mecanica del motor (300) se aumenta cuando el aceite de sistema modificado (301') se proporciona al motor (300) y en donde la etapa de ajuste se hace sobre la base de al menos un parametro que representa una carga actual del motor (300) y un parametro de viscosidad del aceite de sistema (301). De esta manera, la eficiencia mecanica del motor cuando se encuentra operando a menos de la velocidad total/a velocidad parcial, se aumenta. Esto reduce el consumo de combustible de un motor diesel y reduce las emisiones de un motor diesel.
