Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para poner en contacto gases y gotitas de liquidos para el intercambio de masa y/o de calor y una torre de aspersion (3), en la cual se atomiza el liquido en varios planos en contracorriente al gas, en donde el gas a traves de cuando menos dos orificios de entrada (2) se alimenta a la cubierta de la torre de aspersion (3). Para reducir las diferencias en la duracion de contacto en la direccion de flujo del gas presenta en los orificios de entrada (2) en la region interna de la torre de aspersion, que presenta un diametro mayor o igual a 12m, en especial mayor a 20 m, de tal modo que las cuando menos dos corrientes de gas se cortan al extenderse dentro de la torre de aspersion (3), en especial el centro de la torre de aspersion hasta una mitad del radio de la torre de aspersion por detras del centro de la torre de aspersion.
