Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere de manera general a un proceso para la recuperacion de cobre y/u otros valores metalicos a partir de un mineral que contiene metal, concentrado u otro material que contiene metal utilizando lixiviacion a presion y extraccion directa por via electrolitica. Mas particularmente, la presente invencion se refiere a un proceso substancialmente autogeno de acido para la recuperacion de cobre a partir de mineral que contiene calcopirita usando lixiviacion a presion y extraccion directa por via electrolitica en combinacion con una operacion de lixiviacion, extraccion de disolvente/solucion y extraccion directa por via electrolitica.
