Abstract

Metodo de extraccion electrolitica y electrorrefinacion de cobre de una solucion electrolitica de cobre que contiene iones cloruro, el metodo comprende los pasos de: (a) formar una solucion de poliacrilamida disolviendo poliacrilamida, que tiene un peso molecular en el intervalo de 5,000 a 20,000,000 Daltons, en un medio acido y bajo condiciones para formar un copolimero de bloques de poliacrilamida que tiene bloques de grupos carboxilo dispersos junto con el esqueleto polimerico; (b) introducir la solucion de poliacrilamida en una celda electrolitica que contiene la solucion electrolitica de cobre a una concentracion de poliacrilamida de 0.01-10 mg/L; y (c) electrodepositar el cobre de la solucion electrolitica de cobre para formar un catodo de cobre.
