Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar un hilo de filamentos múltiples de nylon 66 texturizado que tiene una viscosidad relativa de aproximadamente 50 a aproximadamente 80, que involucra texturizar por estirado un hilo de alimentación de denir de aproximadamente 15 a 250 y de alargamiento de aproximadamente 70 a aproximadamente 100 por ciento en una temperatura de aproximadamente 200º a aproximadamente 240ºC, para proporcionar un hilo texturizado de alargamiento de menos de aproximadamente 35 por ciento, el proceso está caracterizado en el que la velocidad de texturización es al menos de aproximadamente 900 metros por minuto, y el hilo de alimentación es un polímero de nylon 66 que contiene una cantidad menor de un comonómero de poliamida bifuncional o de un aditivo no-reactivo capaz de enlazar hidrógeno con el polímero de nylon 66, y que el hilo tiene una tensión de estirado en g/d de al menos aproximadamente 0.8 y menos de aproximadamente 1.2.
