Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a instrumento de mano rotatorio energizado, para uso médico y dental, que tiene una porción terminal próxima adaptada para montar una herramienta rotatoria para usarse sobre o en la proximidad con una porción de la anatomía; incluye un conjunto de cojinete soportado en dicha porción terminal para montar rotatoriamente dicha herramienta; en donde el conjunto de cojinete incluye un anillo de rodadura interior anular, un anillo de rodadura exterior anular y una pluralidad de elementos de rodamiento contenidos entre los anillos de rodadura para su montaje, teniendo así un movimiento relativo entre los mismos; caracterizado porque al menos los elementos de rodamiento están formados de un material no metálico, duro, denso y resistente al desgaste, que coopera con dichos anillos de rodadura, para resistir los procedimientos de esterilización repetidos de dicho instrumento sin que intervenga la lubricación.
