Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una varilla conectadora para utilizarse en un motor, que comprende: un miembro de vástago tubular alargado con dos extremos opuestos; un miembro de conexión de pistón fijado a uno de los extremos, incluyendo al miembro de conexión de pistón una superficie cilíndrica adaptada para cooperar con un perno pasador de pistón y que define un primer pasaje que se extiende axialmente, con respecto al miembro de vástago, hacia la superficie cilíndrica, un miembro de conexión de pasador manivela fijado al extremo del miembro de vástago, incluyendo el miembro de conexión de pasador manivela una superficie generalmente semicilíndrica adaptada para cooperar en forma giratoria con un pasador de manivela, y que define un segundo pasaje que se extiende axialmente, con respecto al miembro de vástago hacia la superficie semicilíndrica, en donde el miembro de vástago tubular alargado, el miembro de conexión de pistón, y el miembro de conexión de pasador de manivela, definen entre los mismos, una hueca para producir una rapidez deseada con respecto a las características de peso en la varilla conectora, estando el miembro de vástago tubular alargado provisto con una abertura central que se extiende transversalmente a través del mismo, próxima al miembro de conexión de pasador de manivela, un par de orificios de perno que no se extiendne a través del miembro de coexión del pasador de manivela, para recibir pernos a través de los mismos, que fijen el miembro de conexión de pasador manivela al pasador de manivela, y estando el miembro de vástago tubular alargado provistos con una pared que tiene un grosor mínimo de no más de aproximadamente 2.8 milímetros en donde el miembro de vástago tubular alargado es generalmente anular en una sección transversal a través de la mayor parte de la longitud del mismo
