Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para formar un revestimiento óxido de metal muy delgado sobre vidrio, que comprende los pasos de: rociar un compuesto metálico que tiene cuando menos un ligando de quelato de beta-dicetonato y al menos un ligando de alcoxi sobre una lámina de vidrio caliente; mantenida a 500 hasta 600 grados C.; y descomponer el compuesto para dejar una película de óxido de metal amorfa, delgada, formada del metal y oxígeno derivados en parte de los ligados de alcoxi y quelato, a una velocidad de deposición de cuando menos 400 angstroms por segundo, y en donde una porción principal del metal es aluminio.
