Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la hidrogenación de aceites hidrocarbonados por puesta en contacto de un aceite hidrocarbonado que contiene componentes hidrogenables y que tiene un intervalo de ebullición comprendido entre 130 a 520 grados C con hidrógeno en condiciones que causan una hidrogenación sustancial, utilizando un catalizador que comprende uno o más metales nobles del Grupo VIII sobre un soporte, en el que el soporte comprende una zeolita de tipo Y modificada que tiene un tamaño de celdilla unidad comprendido entre 24,20 y 24,30 A y una relación molar SiO2/A1203 de al menos 25 y recuperación de un producto que contiene al menos una fracción que tiene un intervalo de punto de ebullición comprendido entre el punto de ebullición del 90 por ciento en peso del material de alimentación y el punto de ebullición final del material de alimentación y cuya fracción contiene, expresado en peso, al menos 50 por ciento del material presente en el intervalo de punto de ebullición comprendido entre el punto de ebullición del 90 por ciento en peso del material de alimentación y el punto final del material de alimentación.
