Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para tratar partículas metálicas magnéticas estabilizadas de manera oxidante, que comprende mezclar las partículas estabilizadas y un compuesto orgánico que tiene de 2 a aproximadamente 24 átomos de carbono y que tiene por lo menos dos grupos funcionales seleccionados de grupos de ácido carboxílico, sulfonatos o fosfonatos, en que la cantidad de dicho compuesto orgánico es una cantidad efectiva para desactivar las partículas metálicas para inhibir así la autocondensación de un solvente de cetona en una mezcla de revestimiento magnética.
