Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una resina epoxi que comprende el producto de reacción de un poliepóxido y un poliol, caracterizada porque el producto de reacción contiene grupos epoxi y grupos hidroxilo terminales en una cantidad de cuando menos 0.25 porciento de cada uno de los grupos epoxil y grupos hidroxilo terminales, basándose dicho porcentaje en peso en el peso total del producto de reacción de la resina epoxi. Un procedimiento para preparar la resina epoxi haciendo reaccionar con un polil en prsencia de un catalizador para la relación de un grupo epoxi con un grupo hidroxilo, caracterizado porque se termina la reacción en un punto en el que el producto de reacción contiene cuandomenos 0.25 porciento de cada uno de los grupos epoxi y los grupos hidroxilo terminales, basándose el porcentaje en peso en el peso total del producto de la resina epoxi.
