Abstract

Nueva clase de resinas epoxídicas auto-extinguibles con elevados valores de equivalente epoxídico y au procedimiento para su preparación. El término resina epoxídica significa, por lo general, aquellos productos que tienen más de un grupo epoxídico por molécula, los cuales se endurecen por la interacción de los grupos epoxídicos con agentes endurecedores apropiados. Es bien conocido que las resinas epoxídicas se obtienen industrialmente, mediante reacción entre polifenoles y halohidrinas. Para este fin se utiliza, normalmente, el 2,2''-bis(4- oxifenil)propano (bisfenol A) y epiclorhidrina y utilizando un procedimiento de dos etapas se preparan resinas epoxídicas que tienen elevados valores de equivalente epoxídico.
