Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a porcelana feldespática de alta resistencia, con una resistencia al doblado, sin vidriar, mayor de 1,400 Kg/vcm2, la porcelana consistiendo esencialmente de 22-85 por ciento en peso de SiO(2), 10-73 por ciento en peso de Al(2)O(3) y 1.5-6.5 por ciento en peso de al menos un óxido seleccionado del grupo que consta de corindón, mulita, cristobalita, cuarzo, un grado total de cristalinidad de la fase de cristal mayor del 40 por ciento en peso, el grado de cristalización de los cristales se selecciona en márgenes de no más del 60 por ciento en peso para el corindón, 5-50 por ciento en peso para la mulita, no más del 40 por ciento en peso para la cristobalita y no más del 10 por ciento en peso para el cuarzo, el tamaño de granos de los cristales no es mayor de 20 /um, y la porcelana está exenta de defectos mayores de 40 /um.
