Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para regenerar un catalizador contaminador con coque, el cual comprende los pasos de A) pasar el catalizador en una zona de regeneración como un lecho compacto a través de la zona de regeneración con una corriente de gas b) hacer contacto el catalizador con una corriente de gas que contenga oxígeno en una zona de combustión localizada dentro de la zona de regeneración en condiciones que den como resultado la combustión del carbón presente en el catalizador y porduciendo de esta manera una corriente gas de combustión, la cual es retirada de la zona de regeneración, y un catalizador bajo el carbón, c) pasar el catalizador bajo en carbón desde la zona de combustión hacia abajo a través de una zona de ajuste de temperatura localizada dentro de la zona de regeneración, y allí hacer contacto con el catalizador bajo en carbono con una corriente de gas de ajuste de temperatura; d) pasar el catalizador hacia bajo en carbón desde la zona de ajuste a temperatura hacia abajo a través de una zona de secado localizada dentro de la zona de regeneración, y allí hacer contacto el catalizador bajo en carbón con una corriente de gas de secado para producir el catalizador de partículas regenerado e) comprimir por lo menos una parte principal de la corriente del gas de combustión y producir de esta manera una primera corriente de gas de proceso f) psar una primera porción alícuota de la primera corriente de gas de proceso hacia la zona de ajuste de temperatura como se refirió previamente a la corriente de gas de ajuste de temperatura y g) enfriar una segunda porción alíquota de la primera corrie te del proceso hacia la zona de combustión como se refirió previamente a la corriente d gas que contiene oxígeno.
