Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una mezcla de fusión íntima de polímeros de etileno; dicha mezcla contiene de aproximadamente 75 a 90 por ciento por peso cuando menos de un polímero de etileno lineal de alta densidad, y de aproximadamente 10 a 25 por ciento por peso cuando menos de un polimero de etileno lineal de baja densidad; los polímeros de etileno representan, cuando menos y aproximadamente el 98 por ciento por peso de los polímeros totales contenidos en la mezcla; cada uno de los polímeros de etileno de gran densidad incluidos en la mezcla tiene una densidad mínima y aproximada de 0.94 gm/ml, un índice de fusión menor de 0.5 gm/10 min y tiene polimerizado en él, cuando menos y aproximadamente 98 por ciento de moles de etileno, cualquier comonómeros que se polimerice en él es una afa-monooleina que contiene aproximadamente 3 a 12 átomos de carbono; y cada uno de los polímeros de etileno lineales de baja densidad incluidos en la mezcla tiene una densidad inferior a 0.93 gm/ml, un índice de fusión de alrededor de 2.0 gm/10 min, y tiene polimerizado en él de aproximadamente 2 a 6 por ciento de moles de una alfa-monoolefina que contiene de aproximadamente 3 a 12 átomos de carbono, conteniendo en etileno el resto del monómero polimerizado en él.
