Invenţia se referă la biotehnologie, în particular la o tulpină de drojdie Saccharomyces cerevisiae, utilizată pentru obţinerea β- glucanilor.Se propune o tulpină de drojdie Saccharomyces cerevisiae, depozitată în Colecţia Naţională de Microorganisme Nepatogene a Institutului de Microbiologie şi Biotehnologie al AŞM cu numărul CNMN-Y-20 în calitate de sursă de β-glucani.
