Invenţia se referă la industria alimentară, în special la produse de panificaţie, şi poate fi utilizată pentru fabricarea covrigeilor cu adaos de şrot din deşeuri de tomate.Conform invenţiei, compoziţia de covrigei cu adaos de şrot din deşeuri de tomate conţine, în % de masă: făină de grâu de calitate superioară 44,0...49,2, şrot obţinut la CO2-extracţia deşeurilor de tomate 2,6...4,9, sare 0,9...1,0, zahăr 0,5...0,6, ulei vegetal 3,5...3,7, drojdii 1,4...1,5, apă 36,4...42,0, şi, opţional, condimente 0...2,8 sau seminţe 0...5,0.Rezultatul invenţiei constă în fortificarea covrigeilor cu fibre alimentare şi proteine din materii prime secundare de origine vegetală, sporirea valorii biologice şi a proprietăţilor organoleptice şi micşorarea valorii energetice a produsului finit.
