Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치에서, BER를 이용하여 트랙킹을 제어하는 회로 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하고자 하는 기술적 과제
디지탈 영상 녹화 재생 장치에서, 재생시 ECC회오의 출력으로부터 비트 에러 레이트를 검출하여 트랙킹을 제어하는 트랙킹 제어 회로 및 방법을 제공함.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
서보제어신호의 입력에 대응하여 자기기록매체의 주행을 제어하는 메카니즘과, 싱크 블럭 단위로 기록 매체에 기록된 데이타를 ECC회로를 포함하여 가지고 재생하는 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트래킹 제어회로에 있어서, 상기 ECC회로부터 출력되는 에러 플레그를 측정하여 BER(Bit Error Rate) 데이타를 출력하는 BER검출기와, 상기 BER 검출기로부터 출력되는 BER데이타 미리 설정된 에러율을 초과시에 응답하여 상기 BER 데이타에 대응하는 트랙킹 제어 데이타를 생성하여 추력하는 제어 유니트와, 상기 제어 유니트로부터 출력되는 트랙킹 제어 데이타에 대응된 서보제어신호를 상기 메카니즘으로 공급하는 서보회로를 포함하여 구성된다.

비트 에러 레이트를 이용한 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 회로 및 그 제어 방법

제2도는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 디지탈 영상 녹화 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 회로의 불럭도를 도시한 도면.
제3도는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 비트 에러 레이트를 이용한 트랙킹 제어방법의 흐름도를 도시한 도면.

Claims (4)

  1. 서보제어신호의 입력에 대응하여 자기기록매체의 주행을 제어하는 메카니즘과, 싱그 블럭 단위로 기록 매체에 기록된 데이타를 ECC회로를 포함하여 가지고 재생하는디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 회로에 있어서, 상기 ECC회로부터 출력되는 에러 플레그를 측정하여 BER 데이타를 출력하는 BER 검출기와, 상기 BER 검출기로부터 출력되는 BER 데이타 미리 설정된 에러율을 초과시에 응답하여 상기 BER 데이타에 대응하는 트랙킹에 제어 데이타를 생성하여 출력하는 제어 유니트와, 상기 제어 유니트로부터 출력되는 트랙킹 제어 데이타에 대응된 서보제어신호를 상기 메카니즘으로 공급하는 서보회로를 포함하여 구성함을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어회로.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 BER 검출기는 매 60트랙의 정보를 픽업시 마다 리세트 되어 60트랙에 대응하는 비트에러율의 값을 출력함을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 회로.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제어 유니트는 60트랙에 대응하는 BER 데이타의 각각에 대응하는 트랙제어 데이타를 가지는 메모리와, 상기 BER 검출기로부터 출력되는 데이타가 미리 설정된 오차율을 초과할시에 응답하여 해당 BER 데이타에 대응하는 트랙 제어 데이타를 상기 메모리로부터 억세스 하는 마이크로 프로세서임을 특징으로 하는 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 회로.
  4. 기록 매체로부터 재생되는 영상 데이타를 에러정정하며, 싱크 불럭내의 에러 상태에 대응되는 에러 플레그를 발생하는 에러 정정 복호기와, 상기 에러 정정 복호기로부터 출력되는 에러 플레그를 계수 및 연산하여 비트 에러 레이트를 검출한 비트 에러 레이트 검출기 및 서보제어신호의 입력에 대응하여 메카니즘을 제어하여 기록매체의 주행을 제어하는 서보회로를 구비한 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 방법에 있어서, 다수 싱크 블럭들로부터 검출된 BER의 합과 미리 설정된 오차1율을 비교하는 싱크 블럭의 오차율 검색과정과, 상기 검출된 BER이 상기 오차율보다 적을 때 트랙킹의 제어를 정상적으로 실행하는 정상 트랙킹 제어과정과, 상기 검출된 BER이 상기 오차율을 초과시에 응답하여 상기 검출된 BER에 대응하는 트랙킹 데이타를 상기서보제어데이타로서 출력하는 자동 트랙킹 제어과정으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 비트 에러 레이트를 이용한 디지탈 영상 기록 재생 장치의 트랙킹 제어 방법.
