Abstract
1종 이상의 개시제 및 1종 이상의 초기 중합체의 존재하에, 비닐 할로겐화물 및 비닐리덴 할로겐화물을 제회한 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체의 자유 라디칼 유화 중합에 의해 중합체 분산물을 기준으로 하여 중합체 농도가 50 부피% 이상인 저점도의 중합체 수분산물을 제조하는 방법은 초기 중합체의 수분산물 중에서 대부분의 단량체를 유화시키는 단계 및 상기 에멀젼을 중합 반응에 연속적으로 공급하는 단계를 포함한다.

Claims (15)
- 초기 중합체의 수분산물 중에서 대부분의 단량체를 유화시키는 단계 및 생성 에멀젼을 중합 반응에 연속적으로 공급하는 단계를 포함하는, 1종 이상의 개시제 및 1종 이상의 초기 중합체의 존재하에, 비닐 할로겐화물 및 비닐리덴 할로겐화물을 제외한 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체의 자유 라디칼 유화 중합에 의해 중합체 분산물을 기준으로 하여 중합체 농도가 50 부피% 이상인 저점도의 중합체 수분산물을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 중합되는 단량체를 기준으로 하여 초기 중합체를 0.01 내지 10중량% 사용하는 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 초기 중합체의 평균 입경 (d50값)이 250nm 미만인 방법.
- 제1 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용되는 초기 중합체가 각각 중합체 총중량을 기준으로 하여 비닐방향족 단량체, 공액 C4-C8디엔, 아크릴산 또는 메타크릴산의 C1-C12-알칸올 또는 C5-C8-시클로알칸올과의 에스테르, 또는 이들의 혼합물 90 내지 99.9중량%, 및 α,β-불포화, C3-C10모노- 또는 디카르복실산, 이들의 아미드, 이들의 혼합물 또는 N-비닐락탐 0.1 내지 10중량%를 공중합 형태로 포함하는 1종 이상의 공중합체를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 사용되는 초기 중합체가 스티렌, α-메틸스티렌, 아크릴산 및(또는) 메타크릴산의 C1-C12-알칸올과 에스테르, 부타디엔 또는 이들의 혼합물 90 내지 99.9중량%, 및 (메트)아크릴산, (메트)아크릴로니트릴, (메트)아크릴아미드 또는 이들의 혼합물 0.1 내지 10중량%를 공중합 형태로 포함하는 1종 이상의 공중합체를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1 내지 5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 초기 중합체를 단량체 에멀젼 중에서 적어도 30분 동안 팽윤시킨 후 반응 혼합물에 첨가하는 방법.
- 제1 내지 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용되는 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체가 각각 중합되는 단량체 총량을 기준으로 하여 α,β-불포화 모노- 또는 디카르복실산의 C1-C12-알칸올 또는 C5-C8-시클로알칸올과의 에스테르, C1-C18카르복실산의 비닐 에스테르, C1-C12-알킬 비닐 에테르, C2-C6올레핀, 비닐방향족 단량체, 공액 C4-C8디엔, (메트)아크릴로니트릴 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 단량체 80 내지 99.9중량%, 및 탄소 원자수 3 내지 10개의 α,β-모노에틸렌계 불포화 모노- 또는 디카르복실산, 이들의 아미드, 비닐술폰산, (메트)아크릴아미도-2-메틸프로판술폰산 및(또는) 이들의 염, N-비닐피롤리돈 또는 이들의 혼합물 0.1 내지 20중량%, 및 가교결합성 단량체 0 내지 10중량%를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1 내지 7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단량체 에멀젼 중 물 대 단량체의 중량비가 1 : 1 내지 1 : 9의 범위내인 방법.
- 제1 내지 8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단량체 에멀젼을 반응 혼합물내에 존재하는 단량체의 전환율이 적어도 80%인 방식으로 계량하는 방법.
- 제1 내지 9항 중 어느 한 항 기재의 방법으로 얻을 수 있는 중합체 수분산물.
- 제10항에 있어서, 중합체 함량이 65부피% 보다 큰 것인 중합체 수분산물.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 점도가 1000mPa·s미만인 것인 중합체 수분산물.
- 제10 내지 12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중합체 입자가 아크릴산 또는 메타크릴산의 C1-C12-알칸올과의 에스테르, 스티렌 또는 이들의 혼합물 70 내지 100중량%, 또는 스티렌, 부타디엔 또는 이들의 혼합물 70 내지 100중량%를 공중합 형태로 포함하는 것인 중합체 수분산물.
- 제10항 내지 13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 중합체 입자가 아크릴산 또는 메타크릴산의 C1-C12-알칸올과의 1종 이상의 에스테르 95 내지 99.7중량%, 아크릴산 및(또는) 메타크릴산 0.3 내지 5중량%, 및 아크릴아미드 및(또는) 메타크릴아미드 0 내지 1중량%를 공중합 형태로 포함하는 것인 중합체 수분산물.
- 제10 내지 14항 중 어느 한 항 기재의 중합체 수분산물의 코팅 조성물 또는 접착제용 결합제, 또는 종이, 가죽 또는 직조물 또는 부직물 마감용 결합제로서의 용도.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
