Abstract
본 발명의 소비재 디지털 비디오 카세트 레코더(210)는 MPEG와 같은 신호 포맷을 갖는 진보된 텔레비젼 신호를 레코딩 할 수 있다. MPEG와 같은 신호 포맷의 예측 특성 비표준 속도 재생 또는 트릭 플레이 재생이 용이하도록 추가적인 I-프레임 데이터(51,61,71)가 발생되고 표준 플레이 속도 데이터 스트림(09)와 함께 레코딩되는 것을 요구한다. 추가적인 I-프레임 데이터 스트림(521,531,541)은 각각의 재생 속도에 대해 특정하여 발생되며, 소정의 속도에서의 재생을 용이하게 하도록 레코딩된 트랙 내애 기록된다. 완전한 해상도 및 감소된 해상도의 트릭 플레이 데이터 스트림의 유도를 위한 다양한 본 발명에 따른 방법이 개시된다. 소비재 장치에 의한 실시간 레코딩 및, 사전 레코드된 디지털 매체와 함계 사용하기 위한 비실시간 표준 및 트릭 플레이 데이터 스트림 발생을 위해, 본 발명의 트릭 플레이 데이터 스트림 발생이 개시된다.

제2도는 완전한 해상도를 갖는 트릭 플레이 데이터 스트림의 실시간 발생을 위한 본 발명의 추가적인 시스템의 간략화된 블록도를 나타낸다. 제3도는 사전 레코드된 디지털 레코드에 포함되기 위해 저해상도를 갖는 트릭 플레이 데이터 스트림을 발생시키는 본 발명의 방법을 나타내는 간략화된 블록도, 제6도는 사전 레코드된 레코드의 비실시간 발생을 위한 본 발명의 추가적인 방법을 나타내는 간략화된 블록도를 나타낸다.
Claims (16)
1배속 이상에서의 재생을 용이하게 하기 우해 MPEG 호환 디지털 이미지 표현 신호를 유도하고 레코딩하는 방법에 있어서, a) 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 수신하는 단계와, b)디지탈 이미지 표현 신호를 시간적으로 처리하여, 순차 주사된 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(31)를 발생시키는 단계(30)와, c)상기 순차 주사된 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(31)를 공간적으로 처리하여, 감소된 해상도의 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(41)를 생성하는 단계(40)와, d)상기 감소된 해상도의 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(41)를 시간적으로 서브샘플링하여, 트릭 플레이 속도로 특정된 신호(51,61,71)를 형성하는 단계(50,60,70)와, e)상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 신호를 엔코딩하여, 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(121,131,141)를 생성하는 단계(120,130,140)와, f)상기 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 엔코딩하여, 표준 플레이 MPEG 호환 신호(101)를 생성하는 단계(100)와, g)상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(121,131,141) 및 표준 플레이 MPEG 호환 신호(101)중에서 선택하여, 레코드 포맷팅된 MPEG 비트 스트림(200)을 형성하는 단계와, h) 상기 레코드 포맷팅된 MPEG 비트 스트림(200)을 레코딩하는 단계(210)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(121,131,141)는 I-프레임을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(121,131,141)는상기 레코드 포맷팅된 MPEG 비트 스트림(200)에서 발생하도록 제어되어(FMT CTRL), 레코드될때(210) 상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(200)는 상기 트릭 플레이 속도로 재생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 디지털 이미지 표현 신호가 60㎐ 프레임율로 순차 주사될 때 프레임 하나 걸러 삭제하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 디지털 이미지 표현 신호가 60㎐ 필드율로 비월 주사될 때 프레임 하나 걸러 삭제하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 시간적으로 처리하는 단계(30)는 30㎐ 프레임율로 순차 주사된 디지털 이미지 표현 신호를 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 감소된 해상도의 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(41)는 720×480픽셀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제2항에 있어서, 상기 I-프레임을 반복시키기 위해 상기 MPEG 호환 트릭 플레이 신호(121,131,141)의 패킷화된 기본 스트림층의 DSM_트릭_플레이_플래그를 세팅하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 시간 서브샘플링율은 상기 트릭 플레이 속도에 응답하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 세팅 단계는 트릭 플레이 데이터 및 레코더 서보 데이터를 포함하는 포맷 제어 신호(FMT CTRL)에 응답하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
1배속 이상에서의 재생을 용이하게 하기 위해 레코드 포매팅을 위해 MPEG 호환 디지털 이미지 표현 신호를 유도하는 방법에 있어서, a) 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 수신하는 단계와, b) 디지탈 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 처리하여, 감소된 해상도를 갖는 순차 주사된 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(41)를 형성하는 단계(30,40)와, c) 감소된 해상도를 갖는 상기 순차 주사된 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(31)를 시간적으로 서브샘플링하여, 트릭 플레이 속도(51,61,71)로 특정된 신호를 형성하는 단계(50,60,70)와, d) 상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 신호(51,61,71)를 MPEG 엔코딩(100)하고 기억(560,570,570)하여, 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(521,531,541)를 생성하는 단계와, e) 상기 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 엔코딩(100)하고 기억(550)하여, 표준 플레이 속도(501)로 특정된 MPEG 호환 신호를 생성하는 단계와, f) 기억된 상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(521,531,541)를 판독하는 단계와, g) 기억된 상기 표준 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 포환 신호(501)를 판독하는 단계와, h) 상기 트릭 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(521,531,541) 및 상기 표준 플레이 속도 특정 MPEG 호환 신호(501) 중에서 선택하여, 상기 표준 플레이 속도 및 상기 트릭 플레이 속도에서의 재생을 용이하게 하는 포맷팅된 비트 스트림(200)을 생성한 단계와, j) 상기 포맷팅된 비트 스트림(200)을 레코딩(201)하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제11항에 있어서, 상기 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 처리하는 상기 단계는, 시간 처리(30)에 의해 순차 주사된 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(31)를 발생시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
제11항에 있어서, 상기 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(09)를 처리하는 상기 단계(30,40)는 시간 처리(30)에 의해 감소된 해상도의 디지털 이미지 표현 신호(41)를 발생시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
