Abstract

연료탱크의 개구를 막는 덮개에 의하여 연료탱크내에는 연료펌프, 연료필터, 그리고, 프레셔 레귤레이터가 지지되어 있다. 연료펌프에 의하여 빨아올려진 연료는 연료필터로 흘러들어가서, 엘레멘트로 여과된 후에 필터하우징의 하측실로 흘러나온다. 내연기관등의 연료소비장치에서 소비되는 연료는 필터하우징의 하측실로부터 윗방향으로 뻗는 연료통로를 통하여 공급된다. 한편, 연료중에 섞어들어간 수분은 하측실에 고인다. 특히, 필터엘레멘트에는 친수성이 높은 유리섬유등이 섞여 있어서, 수분이 포착되어 물방울이 되어 하측실에 떨어진다. 물방울은 하우징의 바닥부에 설치된 프레셔 레귤레이터를 통하여 잉여원료와 함께 연료탱크내로 복귀된다.

Claims (20)

  1. 연료탱크내의 연료를 연료소비장치에 공급하는 연료공급장치에 있어서, 상기 연료탱크로 부터 상기 연료소비장치로의 연료통로를 형성하는 부재로서, 상기 부재는 상기 연료통로에 설치된, 연료와 물을 분리가능한 분리실과, 상기 분리실의 하부에 개구되고, 상기 분리실의 하부로 부터 뻗는 리턴통로를 형성하고, 상기 리턴통로에는 상기 연료탱크로부터 상기 연료소비자치에 공급되는 연료의 압력에 따라 상기 리턴통로로 부터 상기 연료탱크로의 통로를 개폐하는 밸브가 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로하는 연료공급장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분리실의 입구와 출구는 상기 리턴통로보다 위쪽에 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로하는 연료공급장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 부재는 상기 연료탱크내에 설치되고, 상기 연료탱크내에서 상기 분리실과 상기 리턴통로를 형성하고 있으며, 상기 밸브는 상기 연료탱크내에 수용되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 밸브는 상기 분리실내의 연료압력에 대응하여 연료압력이 소정압력이상이 되면 상기 리턴통로를 여는 프레셔 레귤레이터인 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 부재는 연료탱크의 개구를 막는 덮개를 형성하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 부재는 연료탱크의 개구를 막는 덮개에 붙이고 떼기 가능하게 부착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  7. 연료탱크내의 연료를 연료소비장치에 공급하는 연료공급장치체 있어서, 연료탱크로 부터 연료소비장치로의 연료통로에 설치되고, 연료를 여과하는 연료필터와,연료탱크로 부터 연료소비장치로의 연료통로에 설치되고, 잉여연료를 상기 연료탱크로 복귀시켜 연료압력을 조절하는 프레셔 레귤레이터를 구비하고, 상기 프레셔 레귤레이터는 상기 연료필터의 아래쪽 공간으로 부터 연료를 꺼내어 잉여연료로서 상기 연료탱크로 복귀시키도록 상기 연료필터에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  8. 상기 연료필터의 설치되며, 상기 제2출구는 상기 제1출구와 상기 프레셔레귤레이터에 접속되고 잉여연료가 지나는 제2출구가 설치되며, 상기 제2출구는 상기 제1출구보다 아래쪽에 개구되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 아래쪽 공간으로 부터 윗쪽으로 연료필터 엘레멘트가 설치되고, 그 연료필터 엘레멘트에 의하여 여과된 연료가 상기 아래쪽 공간으로 흘러 들어가도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 연료필터 엘레멘트에는 친수성 섬유가 혼입되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  11. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 연료필터는 연료필터 엘레멘트를 수용하는 용기상의 필터하우징을 가지며, 상기 프레셔 레귤레이터는 상기 필터하우징에 고정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 필터하우징은 상기 연료탱크의 덮개에 붙이고 떼기 가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  13. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 필터하우징은 상기 연료탱크의 덮개와 조합되어 있고, 상기 덮개에 의하여 지지되는 연료펌프의 토출관과 직접 접속되는 입구와, 상기 연료소비장치에 접속되는 출구를 가지고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료공급장치.
  14. 연료공급통로에 설치되고, 연료를 여과하는 엘레멘트를 수용하는 연료필터 하우징에 있어서, 입구와, 제1및 제2의 적어도 2개의 출구를 구비하고, 상기 입구와 상기 제1출구는 소비될 연료가 지나는 일련의 연료통로를 구성하기 위하여 1쌍을 이루어 배치되어 있으며, 상기 제2출구는 잉여연료의 출구로서 설치되어 있고, 또한 상기 필터하우징내에 고인 수분을 잉여연료와 함께 배출가능하게 하도록 상기 필터하우징의 아래쪽에 개구되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 필터하우징의 바깥쪽에는, 프레셔 레귤레인터를 접속하기 위한 접속부가 일체적으로 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
  16. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 필터하우징은 연료탱크의 개구를 막는 덮개와 조합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 필터하우징은 연료탱크의 개구를 막는 덮개와 분리할 수 없도록 일체화되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
  18. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 필터하우징은 연료탱크의 개구를 막는 덮개에 붙이고 떼기 가능하게 부착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
  19. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 입구는 상기 필터하우징의 상부에 설치되고, 상기 제1의 출구는 상기 필터하우징의 하부에 설치되어 있으며, 상기 필터하우징은 또한 상기 제1의 출구로 부터 위방향을 향하여 뻗는 연료통로를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
  20. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 입구는 상기 필터하우징의 상부에 설치되고, 상기 제1의 출구는 상기 필터하우징의 하부에 설치되어 있으며, 상기 제2의 출구는 상기 제1출구보다 아래쪽에 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터하우징.
