Abstract

전송기의 쳐핑변수 α는 신호광에 대해 양의 분산치를 갖는 SMF에 대해, 양의 값으로 설정한다. 분산 보상기는 수신측 뿐만 아니라 송신측에도 설치한다. 이로써 전송 섬유의 길이의 변화에도 불구하고 전송 특성을 최적화하기 위해 미리 준비하여 하는 분산 보상기의 수를 줄일 수 있다.

Claims (9)

  1. 송신측과 수신측 간에 설치하고, 송신측에서 수신측으로 전송하는 광신호의 파장에 대해 양의 분산치를 갖는 광 섬유와, 송신측 및 수신측 중의 적어도 어느 하나에 상기 광섬유와 직렬로 접속하고, 전송하는 광신호의 파장에 대해 음의 분산치를 갖는 분산 보상기와, 송신측에서 광신호에 양의 쳐핑을 인가하는 쳐핑수단으로 된 광전송 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 쳐핑수단에서의 쳐핑변수 α는 2이하인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 쳐핑변수 α는 대략 1인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 쳐핑변수 α는 상기 광섬유의 길이에 따라 가변인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분산 보상기는 송신측에 고정적으로 접속된 송신기측 분산 보상기와, 수신측에 접속된 수신측 분산 보상기를 포함하며, 상기 수신측 분산 보상기는 상기 광 섬유의 길이에 따라 다른 분산치를 갖는 복수의 분산 보상기 중에서 선택하는 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분산 보상기는 분산 보상 섬유인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분산 보상기는 화이버 격자형 분산 등화기인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분산 보상기는 도파관형 분산 등화기인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분상 등화기는 공진기형 분산 등화기인 것이 특징인 광전송 시스템.
