Abstract

폴리페닐렌 에테르; 스티렌 수지; 및 조성물의 중량을 기준으로 에틸렌/프로필렌 미드블럭과 적어도 두개의 중합된 스티렌 엔드블럭을 지니는 2 내지 40중량%의 탄성중합체 블럭 공중합체를 포함하는, 저온에서 개선된 내충격성을 지니는 조성물. 바람직하게는 블럭 공중합체는 선형 스티렌-애틸렌/프로필렌-스티렌-스티렌 블럭 공중합체이다.

고충격 폴리페닐렌 에테르/스티렌 수지/탄성중합체 조성물

제1도 및 제2도는 에틸렌/부틸렌 미드블럭을 지닌 탄성중합체로 개질되고(1) 본 발명에 따라 에틸렌/프로필렌 미드블럭을 지닌 탄성중합체로 개질되(2) 폴리페닐렌 에테르(PPE)/폴리스티렌 블렌드에 대한 충격 강도대 온도의 작도이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 폴리페닐렌 에테르;스티렌 수지;및 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로, 에틸렌/프로필렌 미드블럭과 적어도 두개의 중합된 스티렌 엔드블럭을 지니는 탄성중합체성 블럭 공중합체 2 내지 40중량%를 포함하는 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 블럭 공중합체가 선형 스티렌-에틸렌/프로필렌-스티렌 블럭 공중합체인 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 선형 스티렌-에틸렌/프로필렌-스티렌 블럭 공중합체가 스티렌-이소프렌-스티렌 블럭 공중합체의 수소화로부터 유도되는 조성물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 블럭 공중합체의 중합된 스티렌 함량이 10 내지 49중량% 범위내인 조성물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 블럭 공중합체가 조성물에 10 내지 30중량%의 양으로 존재하는 조성물.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 조성물이 -40℃에서의 노치트 아이조드 충격 강도가 적어도 1.6J/cm인 조성물.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리페닐렌 에테르가 화학식(1)의 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체인 조성물.
    상기 식에서, Q,Q′,Q″및 Q″′는 수소, 탄환수소 라디칼, 할로겐 원자와 페놀 핵 사이에 적어도 두개의 탄소 원자를 지닌 할로하이드로커본 라디칼, 하이드로카보녹시 라디칼 및 할로겐 원자와 페놀 핵 사이에 적어도 두개의 탄소 원자를 지닌 할로하이드로카보녹시 라디칼이고, 또한 Q′,Q″또는 Q″′는 할로겐일 수 있으며, 단 Q′,Q″및 Q″′가 할로겐일 경우, Q와 Q′는 바람직하게는 삼급 탄소 원자를 함유하지 않으며; n은 단량체 잔기의 총수이고 50이상의 정수이다.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 스티렌 수지가 스티렌 단독중합체이거나 고무-개질된 폴리스티렌인 조성물.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리페닐렌 에테르와 스티렌 수지가 95:5 내지 20:80의 중량비로 존재하는 조성물.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 안정화제를 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
