Abstract

고주파 용접에서 개질된 폴리에스테르, 예를 들어, 이소프탈산 개질된 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트의 용도를 기술한다.
본 발명은 이러한 폴리에스테르로 일워진 형상 구조물, 특히 시트, 필름, 도막, 중공품, 사출 성형품, 사 및 이러한 사를 포함하는 직물 시트 재료의 초기용융 또는 완전한 용융에 유용하다.
본 발명은 통상적인 고주파 용접 장치를 사용하여 수행할 수 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 화학식(1)구조 반복 단위 5mol% 이상 및/또는 화학식(2)의 구조 반복 단위 5mol% 이상을 함유하는 폴리에스테르로 구성된 형상 구조물을 제공하는 단계(a)와 형상 구조물의 일부 이상이 초기에 또는 완전히 융되도록 하는 강도와 기간 동안 바람직하게는 전파 범위에서 고주파 전자선(電磁線)을 적용하는 단계(b)를 포함하여, 형상 구조물, 특히 시트, 필름, 도막, 중공품, 사출 성형품, 사 및 이러한 사를 포함하는 직물 시트재료를 초기에 용융시키거나 완전히 용융시키는 방법.

    -O-OC-R2-CO-O-Ar2(2)
    상기 화학식(1)및 (2)에서, Ar1과 Ar2는 각각 독립적으로 자유 원자가가 서로 메타 위치에 있거나 동등하게 을 이룬 2가 단환식 또는 다환식 방향족 라디칼, 바람직하게는 1,3-페닐렌이고, R1은 2가 지방족 또는 지환족 라디칼, 바람직하게는 화학식-CnH2n-의 라디칼(여기서, n은 2내지 6의 정수이다.), 특히 에틸렌, 또는 사이클로헥산디메탄올로부터 유도된 라디칼이며, R2는 2가 지방족, 지환족 또는 단환식 또는 다환식 방향족 라디칼이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 형상 구조물이 제1항의 폴리에스테르로 구성된 스테이플 섬유 또는 필라멘트를 포함하는 사이거나 이러한 사를 포함하는 직물 시트 재료인 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 사가 강화 섬유, 바람직하게는 강화 필라멘트와 제1항에서 언급한 폴리에스테르로 구성된 저용용 매트릭스 섬유, 바람직하게는 매트릭스 필라 멘트를 포함하는 혼방사(hybirid yarn)의 형태로 제공되는 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 폴리에스테르 매트릭스 섬유의 융점이 강화 필라멘트의 융점 또는 분해점보다 30℃이상 낮은 방법.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 강화 섬유가, 초기 모듈러스가 50GPa를 초과하고 바람직하게는 유리, 탄소 또는 방향족 폴리아미드로 구성되는 방법.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 강화 섬유가, 초기 모듈러스가 10GPa를 초과하고 폴리에스테르, 특히 폴레에틸렌 테레프탈레이트로 구성되는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 형상 구조물이 화학식(3)의 반복 단위와 화학식(4)의 구조 반복 단위를 갖는 개질된 폴레에틸렌 테레프탈레이트를 포함하는 방법.

    -O-OC-Ar4-CO-O0R4(2)
    상기 화학식(3)및 (4)에서, Ar3은 자유 원자가가 서로 파라 위치에 있거나 동등하게 평행하거나 동축인 2가의 단환식 또는 다환식 방향족 라디칼, 바람직하게는 1,4-페닐렌 및/또는 2,6-나프탈렌이고, R3및 R4는 서로 독립적으로 2가 지방족 또는 지환족 라디칼, 특히 화학식-CnH2n-의 라디칼(여기서, n은 2내지 6의 정수이다), 특히 에틸렌, 또는 사이클로헥산디메탄올로부터 유도된 라디칼이며, Ar4는 자유전자가가 서로 메타 위치에 있거나 동등하게 각을 이룬 2가 단환식 또는 다환식 방향족 라디칼, 바람직하게는 1,3-페닐렌이다.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 형상구조물이 화학식(3)의 구조 반복 단위 40 내지 95mol%와 화학식(4)의 구조 반복단위 60 내지 5mol%를 함유하는 개질된 폴리에틸렌 테르프탈 레이트(화학식(3) 및 (4)에서,Ar3은 1,4-페닐렌 및/또는 2,6-나프틸렌이고, R3및 R4는 각각 에틸렌이며, Ar3는 1,3-페닐렌이다)를 포함하는 방법.
  9. 제1항의 사를 포함하는 직물 시트 재료를 제공하는 단계(a)와 직물 시트 재료에서 제1항의 사의 일부 이상이 초기에 또는 완전히 용융되도록 하는 강도와 기간 동안 바람직하게는 전파 범위에서 고주파 전자선을 적용하는 단계(d)를 포함하여, 직물 시트 재료, 특히 직물, 레이, 편물 또는 부직포를 합체 및/또는 결합시키는 방법.
  10. 고주파 용접으로 초기 용융시키거나 완전 용융시키기 위한, 제1항의 폴리에스테르의 용도.
