Abstract

본 발병은 차량용 에어백장치에 관한 것으로, 더 상세하게는 조향핸들의 내측에 설치된 에어백장치가 핸들과 가장 가까이 위치되는 운전자의 가슴부위로 먼저 팽창되도록 하여 운전자를 더욱 더 보호할 수 있는 차량용 에어백장치에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 차량의 운전석에 마련된 조향핸들, 상기 조향핸들의 내측에 설치되며, 차량이 충돌되면 팽창되어 운전자의 관성에너지를 흡수하여 운전자를 보호하는 에어백장치, 상기 에어백장치를 덮고 있는 덮개, 상기 덮개의 중앙부에 가로방향으로 마련되되, 인접한 덮개의 두께보다 얇게 마련되어 에어백이 팽창되면 에어백의 팽창력에 의하여 절개되는 제1절개부, 인접한 덮개의 두께보다 얇도록 상기 제1 절개부의 중앙과 연동되면서 제1 절개부의 하측으로 형성되되, 에어백이 팽창되면 에어백의 팽창력에 의하여 절개되면서 핸들측과 가까이 위치된 운저자의 가슴부위로 에어백이 팽창되도록 하는 제2 절개부를 더 구비하는 구성이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 차량의 운전석에 마련된 조향핸들(50), 상기 조향핸들(50)의 내측에 설치되며, 차량이 충돌되면 팽창되어 운전자의 관성에너지를 흡수하여 운전자를 보호하는 에어백장치(60), 상기 에어백장치(60)를 덮고 있는 덮기(65), 상기 덮개(65)의 중앙부에 가로방향으로 마련되되, 인접한 덮개(65)의 두께보다 얇게 마련되어 에어백이 팽창되면에어백의 팽창력에 의하여 절개되는 제1절개부(65a), 인접한 덮개(65)의 두께보다 얇도록 상기 제1절개부(65a)의 중앙과 연통되면서 제1절개부의 하측으로 형성되되, 에어백이 팽창되면 에어백의 팽창력에 의하여 절개되면서핸들측과 가까이 위치된 운전자의 가슴부위로 에어백이 팽창되도록 하는 제2 절개부(65b)를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 에어백 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 절개부(65a)와 제2 절개부(65b)가 만나는 부위는 두께는 제1 절개부와 제2 절개부의 두께보다 얇게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 에어백 장치.
