Abstract

네온 램프 또는 소형 발광 램프와 같은 방전 램프는 방출된 광을 유지하기 위한 충진 재료를 포함하는 길다란 튜브형 램프 외피와 상기 램프 외피의 대향 단부에 장착된 전극을 포함한다. 상기 램프 외피상에 제공되는 광-전송 도전성 코팅 은 RF에너지의 방출을 감쇄시킨다. 상기 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 도전체는 상기 도전성 코팅을 접지와 같은 기준전위에 결합한다. 상기 도전체는 램프 외피의 길이를 따라 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 금속 또는 도전성 실리콘 스트립일 수 있다. 상기 방전램프는 동축 케이블에 의해 밸러스트에 연결되어 있다. 각 동축 케이블의 외측 도전체는 연속적인 RF차폐를 형성하도록 상기 도전성 코팅에 연결된다. 상기 도전성 코팅 또는 금속 스트립은 상기 방전 램프의 가열에도 사용될 수 있다.

Claims (35)

  1. 광을 방출하기 위한 구멍을 갖는 하우징과, 방출된 광을 유지하고 충진 재료를 포함하는 길다란 튜브형 램프 외피와 상기 램프 외피의 대향 단부에 장착되는 전극을 포함하며, 상기 구멍을 통해 광을 방출시키기 위해 상기 하우징내에 장착되는 방전 램프와, 상기 방전램프로부터의 RF에너지의 방출을 감쇄시키기위한, 상기 램프 외피 상에 있는 광-전송 도전성 코팅과, 상기 도전성 코팅을 기준 전위에 결합시키기 위해 상기 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 도전체 및, 전기 에너지를 상기 전극에 공급하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅은 인듐 주석 산화물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프 외피의 길이를 따라 상기 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프의 길이를 따라 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 금속 스트립을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프의 길이를 따라 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 도전성 실리콘 스트립을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속 되게 상기 램프 외피의 단부 주위에 위치되는 도전성 실리콘 튜브를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 광-전송 도전성 코팅을 지면에 접속시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프외피의 일부분에 있는 반사 코팅을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 반사 코팅은 방전 램프로부터의 광을 방출 시키기 위한 구멍을 한정시키도록 패턴화되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프는 네온 램프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프는 초소형 발광 램프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기 에너지를 전극에 연결하기 위한 수단은 중심도체와 외피를 갖는 동축 케이블을 포함하며, 상기 중심 도체는 전극중 하나의 전극에 전기 접속되어 있고 상기 외피는 도전체에 의해 광-전송 도전성 코팅에 전기 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프외피의 단부주위에 위치되는 도전성 실리콘 튜브를 포함하고 상기 도전성 코팅과 외피사이에 전기 접속을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  14. 제1항에 있어서, 전극중 하나의 전극에 전기접속되고 또한, 그 전극에 인접위치되는 변압기와, 전기 에너지를 상기 변압기에 공급하는 동력 공급원을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  15. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프가 예정된 온도 이하일 때 상기 방전램프를 가열하도록 충분한 전류를 상기 도전체를 통해 공급하기 위해 도전체에 접속된 전기 회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프는 발광 램프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  17. 방출된 광을 유지하기 위한 충진 재료와 램프의 대향 단부에 장착되는 전극을 포함하는 길다란 튜브형 램프와, 작동중, RF에너지의 방출을 감쇄시키도록 상기 램프 외피상에 제공되는 광-전송 도전성 코팅 및, 상기 도전성 코팅을 기준 전위에 접속시키기 위해 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있고 상기 램프 외피의 길이부분을 따라 램프 외피상에 제공되는 저 임피던스의 도전성 스트립을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅은 인듐 주석 산화물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  19. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프의 길이를 따라 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 금속 스트립을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전 램프.
  20. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프의 길이를 따라 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있는 도전성 실리콘 스트립을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  21. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 도전성 스트립은 램프외피의 일부분에 있는 반사코팅을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  22. 제21항에 있어서, 상기 반사코팅은 방전 램프로부터의 광을 방출시키기 위한 구멍을 한정시키도록 패턴화되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  23. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프는 네온 램프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방전램프.
  24. 방출된 광을 유지하기 위한 충진 재료를 포함하는 길다란 튜브형 램프 외피와 상기 램프 외피의 대향 단부에 장착되는 전극을 포함하는 방전 램프와, 작동중 상기 방전램프로부터의 RF에너지의 방출을 감쇄시키도록 상기 램프 외피상에 제공되는 광-전송 도전성 코팅과, 상기 도전성 코팅을 기준 전위에 결합하기 위한 도전체와, 전기 에너지를 상기 방전램프에 공급하는 동력 공급원 및, 상기 동력 공급원으로부터의 전기 에너지를 전극에 공급하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  25. 제24항에 있어서, 상기 동력 공급원으로부터의 전기 에너지를 상기 전극으로 공급하기 위한 수단은 중심 도전체와 외피를 갖는 동축 케이블을 포함하며, 상기 중심 도전체는 전극중 하나의 전극에 전기접속되고 상기 외피는 상기 도전체에 의해 광-전송 도전성 코팅에 전기 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  26. 제25항에 있어서, 상기 도전체는 램프외피의 단부주위에 위치되는 도전성 실리콘 튜브를 포함하고 상기 도전성 코팅과 외피사이에 전기 접속을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  27. 제24항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프가 예정된 온도 이하일 때 상기 방전램프를 가열하도록 충분한 전류를 상기 도전체를 통해 공급하기 위해 도전체에 접속된 전기 회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  28. 제27항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프는 발광 램프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  29. 방출된 광을 유지하기 위한 충진 재료를 포함하는 길다란 튜브형 램프 외피와 상기 램프 외피의 대향단부에 장착되는 전극을 포함하는 방전 램프와, 램프 외피의 길이를 따라 램프의 외피상에 제공되는 도전성 스트립 및, 상기 방전 램프가 예정된 온도 이하일 때 상기 방전램프를 가열하도록 충분한 전류를 상기 도전체를 통해 공급하기 위해 도전체에 접속된 전기 회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  30. 제29항에 있어서, 상기 방전램프로부터의 RF에너지의 방출을 감쇄시키기위해 상기 램프 외피상에 제공되고 상기 도체 스트립에 의해 기준 전위에 접속되는 광-전송 도전성 코팅을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  31. 제30항에 있어서, 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅은 인듐 주석 산화물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  32. 제30항에 있어서, 상기 전기 회로는 동력 공급원과 상기 동력 공급원과 도전성 스트립 사이를 접속하는 써멀 스위치를 포함하며, 상기 써멀 스위치는 방전 램프와 열적으로 접촉되어 있고 상기 방전 램프가 예정 온도 이하에 있을 때 열 에너지를 동력 공급원으로부터 상기 도전성 스트립으로 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  33. 방출된 광을 유지하기 위한 충진 재료를 포함하는 길다란 튜브형 램프 외피와 상기 램프 외피의 대향 단부에 장착되는 전극을 포함하는 방전 램프와, 작동중 상기 방전램프로부터의 RF에너지의 방출을 감쇄시키도록 상기 램프 외피상에 제공되는 광-전송 도전성 코팅과, 상기 도전성 코팅을 기준 전위에 결합하기 위해 상기 광-전송 도전성 코팅과 전기 접속되어 있고 램프 외피의 길이를 따라 램프의 외피상에 제공되는 도전성 스트립과, 전기 에너지를 상기 방전램프에 공급하는 동력 공급원과, 상기 동력 공급원으로부터의 전기 에너지를 전극에 공급하기 위한 수단 및, 상기 방전 램프가 예정된 온도 이하일 때 상기 방전 램프를 가열하도록 충분한 전류를 상기 도전체를 통해 공급하기 위해 도전체에 접속된 전기 회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  34. 제33항에 있어서, 상기 전기회로는 DC 공급원과, 상기 방전램프와 열접촉되어 있는 써멀 스위치를 포함하며, 상기 써멀 스위치는 상기 방전 램프가 예정된 온도 이하에 있을 때 전기 에너지를 상기 DC공급원으로부터 도전성 스트립으로 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
  35. 제33항에 있어서, 상기 방전 램프는 발광 램프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 램프 조립체.
