Abstract

광 헤드 장치는 레이저 원(52)로부터 방출되고 빔 스프릿터(64)로부터 반사된 광이 대물 렌즈(56)에 의해 광 디스크(58) 상에 수렴되고 반사된 광이 광 겅출기(54)로 안내되는 광학계를 갖는다. 광학계는 상기 빔 스프릿터를 통해 상기 레이저 원으로부터 상기 대물 렌즈상에 입사된 광속의 빔 직경을 화대하는 빔 직경 확대 렌즈(14)를 포함한다. 빔 직경 확대 렌즈는 원추형 렌즈로 구성된다. 억세스가 렌즈 작동기와 같은 수단을 필요로 하지 않고서 대물 렌즈 만에 의해 이루어질 수 있는 범위를 확대할 수 있다.

Claims (3)

  1. 레이저 원(52)로부터 방출되고 빔 스프릿터(64)로부터 반사된 광이 대물 렌즈(56)에 의해 광 디스크(58)상에 수렴되고 반사된 광이 광 검출기(54)로 안내되는 광학계를 갖는 광 헤드 장치에 있어서, 상기 광학계 내에 배치되고 상기 빔 스프릿터를 통해 상기 레이저 원으로부터 상기 대물 렌즈 상에 입사된 광속의 빔 직경을 확대하는 빔 직경 확대 렌즈(14)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 헤드 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 빔 직경 확대 렌즈는 원추형 렌즈로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 광 헤드 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 빔 직경 확대 렌즈는 상기 빔 직경을 트랙킹 방향으로 상기 대물 렌즈의 전체 이동 범위에 걸쳐 확대하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 헤드 장치.
