Abstract

본 발명은 초기중합체 제조시에 하이드록실-관능 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올을 미량 PTMEG-유도된 이소시아네이트-종결된 초기중합체에 가하여 글리콜 중량된 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체를 제조하는 방법에 관하며 이렇게 얻어진 탄성중합체는 탄성중합체의 경도에는 거의 영향을 미치지 않으면서 물리적 성질, 특히 연신율, 인장강도 및 인렬강도가 개선된 것으로 나타났다.

Claims (16)

  1. (a) 관능가가 약 2- 약 2.2인 디- 또는 폴리이소시아네이트; 분자량이 약 600-6000Da인 폴리테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜; 및 프로필렌 옥사이드, 부틸렌 옥사이드 및 테트라하이드로푸란 또는 이들의 혼합물에서 유도된 옥시알킬렌 부분을 대부분 함유하고 폴리옥시테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜의 중량을 기준하여 1- 약 10중량%의, 분자량 약 500- 약10000Da인 하이드록실-관능 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올의 반응생성물이며 NCO 그룹 함량이 약 2- 약20중량%인 이소시아네이트-종결된 초기중합체; 및 b) 이소시아네이트 지수가 약 70-약 130인 글리콜 연쇄 연장제(chain extender)의 반응 생성물로 구성되는 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초기중합체의 NCO 그룹의 함량이 약 4- 약 16중량%인 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 초기중합체의 NCO 그룹의 함량이 약 4- 약 10중량%인 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올의 중량%가 약 1- 약6중량%인 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  5. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, (a) 관능가가 약 2- 약 2.2인 디- 또는 폴리이소시아네이트; 분자량이 약 1000- 약 4000Da인 폴리테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜; 및 프로필렌 옥사이드, 부틸렌 옥사이드, 및 테트라하이드로푸란에서 유도된 옥시알킬렌 부분을 대부분 함유하고 폴리옥시테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜의 중량을 기준하여 1- 약 6중량%의, 분자량 약 500- 약4000Da인 하이드록실-관능 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올의 반응생성물이며, NCO 그룹 함량이 약 4- 약10중량%인 이소시아네이트 초기중합체; 및 (b) 이소시아네이트 지수가 약 90-약 110인 글리콜 연쇄 연장제의 반응 생성물로 구성되는 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  6. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올의 옥시알킬렌 부분이 90중량% 이상의 옥시프로필렌 부분으로 구성되는 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  7. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올이 C1-20알칸을 개시된 폴리옥시프로필렌 단독중합체인 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올의 분자량이 약 1000- 약 4000Da인 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  9. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 디- 또는 폴리이소시아네이트가 2,4- 및 2,6-톨루엔 디이소시아네이트; 2,4' -, 2,2' - 및 4,4' - 디페닐메탄 디이소시아네이트; 2,4' -, 2,2' 및 4,4' - 디싸이클로헥실메탄 디이소시아네이트; 테트라메틸 크실리덴 디이소시아네이트; 1,6-헥산 디이소시아네이트; 이소포론 디이소시아네이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 폴리우레판 탄성중합체.
  10. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 글리콜 인쇄 연장제가 에틸렌 글리콜, 1,2- 및 1,3-프로판디올, 1,2- 및 1,4-부탄디올, 1,6-헥산디올, 네오펜틸 글리콜, 1,4-싸이클로헥산디올, 1,4-싸이클로헥산디메탄올, 2,2,4-트리메틸페탄디올, 하이드로퀴논, 0.0'-비스 (2-하이드록시에틸) 하이드로퀴논, 4,4' - 디하이드록시비페닐, 비스페놀 A, 비스페놀 F, 및 이들의 혼합물으로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체.
  11. 50중량%를 초과하는 옥시프로필렌 또는 옥시부틸렌 부분, 또는 이들의 혼합물로 구성되고, 폴리옥시테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜의 중량을 기준하여 약 1- 약 10중량%의, 분자량이 500- 약 10000Da인 하이드록실-관능 폴리옥시알킬렌모노올의 존재하에서, 이소시아네이트-종결된 초기중합체를 제조하는 것으로 구성되며; 상기 초기중합체를 디- 또는 폴리이소시아네이트와, 그 다음에는 글리콜 연쇄 연장제와 반응시킴으로써 얻어진 폴리테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜-기초한 폴리우레탄 탄성중합체의 물리적 성질을 개선시키는 방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 초기중합체가 약 4- 약 10중량%의 NCO 그룹을 함유하고 상기 폴리테트라메틸렌 에테르 글리콜의 분자량이 약 1000- 약 6000Da인 방법.
  13. 제11항 또는 제12항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올이 약 500- 약 4000Da의 분자량을 갖는 C1-20알칸을 개시된 폴리옥시프로필렌 모노올인 방법.
  14. 제11항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 글리콜 연쇄 연장제가 에틸렌 글리콜, 1,4- 부탄디올, 디에틸렌 글리콜, 1,6-헥산디올, 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 방법.
  15. 제11항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올이 약 1- 약 6중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 폴리옥시알킬렌 모노올이 약 1 내지 약 4중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
