Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
본 발명은 하드디스크드라이브 액츄에이터의 균형맞추기 장치에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
본 발명은 헤드짐벌 조립체와 균형맞추기 장치의 조립을 동시에 할 수 있어 조립생산성이 향상된 하드디스크 드라이브의 액츄에이터 균형맞추기 장치를 제공하는데 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은 헤드짐벌 조립체를 조립하기 위한 아암의 구멍(26)에 균형을 맞추기 위한 밸런스 짐벌을 조립하고 고정하는 것이다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
본 발명은 하드디스크드라이브 액츄에이터의 균형맞추기 장치에 있어서, 헤드짐벌 조립체를 조립하기 위한 아암의 구멍에 밸런스 짐벌을 고정하기 때문에, 조립 생산성을 향상시킨 효과와, 액츄에이터의 무게를 가볍게 하여 시크타임, 전동특성, 그리고 서보특성등의 성능을 향상시킨 효과가 있다.

제4도는 본 발명에 따른 균형맞추기 장치를 갖춘 액츄에이터 액츄에이터의 아암의 사시도이다·

Claims (4)

  1. 하드디스크드라이브 액츄에이터의 아암(arm)을 회전축인 피벗베어링에서 균형을 맞추기(balancing) 위한 장치에 있어서, 헤드짐벌 조립체(22)(head gimbalassembly)와 밸런스 짐벌을 선택적으로 조립할 수 있는 구멍(20)을 갖춘 상기 액츄에이터(16)의 아암(18)과, 상기 액츄에이터(16)의 아암(18)의 구멍(20)에 스태킹하여 상기 회전축에서 상기 액츄에이터(16)의 아암(l8)을 균형맞추기 하는 밸런스 짐벌(24)(balance giInbal)을 미리 정한 질량을 갖게 구비하여, 상기 액츄에이터(16)의 아암(18)의 구멍(20)에 상기 밸런스 짐벌(24)을 고정함에 따라, 상기 액츄에이터(16)의 아암(18)이 상기 피벗베어링(14)을 중심으로 균형을 유지하면서 회전할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브 액츄에이터의 균형맞추기 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 밸런스 짐벌(24)은 평판(plate)에 구멍(26)을 뚫고, 그 구멍(26)에서 돌출된 조립부(28)를 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브 액츄에이터의 균형맞추기 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 조립부(28)는 버링 가공(burring)하여 형성함을 목적으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브 액츄에이터의 균형맞추기 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액츄에이터의 아암(18)에 설치되는 상기 밸런스 짐벌(24)과 헤드짐벌 조립체(22) 갯수의 합이 일정함을 특징으로 하는 액츄에이터의 균형 맞추기 장치.
