Abstract

본 발명은 테이프레코더의 회전드럼용 헤드조립체 제조방법을 개시한다. 개시된 방법은, 비자성기판 위에 소정간격으로 다수개의 자기저항헤드를 증착형성하는 공정과, 다른 비자성기판 위에 소정간격으로 다수개의 씬필름헤드를 증착형성하는 공정과, 상기 2개의 비자성기판을 각각 길이방향으로 커팅하여 다수개의 자기저항헤드블록과 씬필름헤드블록을 형성하고, 자기저항헤드블록 및 씬필름헤드블록의 자기저항 헤드 및 씬필름헤드에 각각 플랙시블 회로기판의 일측에 연결하는 공정과; 상기 공정에서 플랙시블 회로기판이 연결된 자기저항헤드블록 및 씬필름헤드블록을 상호 접합하는 공정과; 상기 공정에서 접합된 자기저항헤드블록 및 씬필름헤드블록을 커팅하여 다수개의 헤드칩을 형성하는 공정과; 상기 헤드칩을 헤드베이스에 고정시키고, 이들에 연결된 플랙시블 회로기판의 타측을 헤드베이스에 연결하는 공정과; 상기 헤드베이스에 고정된 헤드칩의 테이프와 접촉되는 면을 호형으로 가공한 공정과; 상기 호형으로 가공된 면에 다이아몬드상 카본을 코팅하는 공정을 포함한다. 따라서 고밀도 기록 및 재생이 가능한 회전드럼용 헤드조립체를 얻을 수 있게 된다.

Claims (2)

  1. 하나의 비자성기판 위에 소정간격으로 다수개의 자기저항헤드를 증착형성하는 공정과; 다른 하나의 비자성기판 위에 소정간격으로 다수개의 씬필름헤드를 증착형성하는 공정과; 상기 2개의 비자성기판을 각각 길이방향으로 커팅하여 다수개의 자기저항헤드블록과 씬필름헤드블록을 형성하고, 자기저항헤드블록 및 씬필름헤드블록의 자기저항헤드 및 씬필름헤드에 각각 플랙시블 회로기판의 일측에 연결하는 공정과; 상기 공정에서 플랙시블 회로기판이 연결된 자기저항헤드블록 및 씬필름헤드블록을 상호 접합하는 공정과; 상기 공정에서 접합된 자기저항헤드블록 및 씬필름헤드블록을 커팅하여 다수개의 헤드칩을 형성하는 공정과; 상기 헤드칩을 헤드베이스에 고정시키고, 이들에 연결된 플랙시블 회로기판의 타측을 헤드베이스에 연결하는 공정과; 상기 헤드베이스에 고정된 헤드칩의 테이프와 접촉되는 면을 호형으로 가공한 공정과; 상기 호형으로 가공된 면에 다이아몬드상 카본을 코팅하는 공정을 포함하는 테이프레코더의 회전드럼용 헤드조립체 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다수개의 헤드칩을 형성하는 공정에서, 비자성기판을 소정각도로 경사지게 커팅하여 헤드칩에 아지머스각을 부여하기 위한 공정을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프레코더의 회전드럼용 헤드조립체 제조방법.
