Abstract

Claims (34)

  1. 지시된 지리적 서비스 영역내에서 식별된 개별적인 가입자 유니트로부터 통시늘 위한 베이스 국 방송신호에 동기적으로 관련된 다중 디지탈 데이타를 제공함으로서 사전결정된 베이스 국 지리적 영역에 걸쳐 분산된 다수의 가입자 유니트로부터 송신되고 r-f캐리어상에서 변조된 디지탈 데이타를 처리하는 베이스 국에 의해 서비스되는 다양한 지리적 위치에서 다수의 가입자 유니트에서부터 그리고 다수의 가입자 유니트로 통신경로를 위한 네트워크 허브 스위칭 센터를 갖는 양방향 통신 대화형 비디오 네트워크에서의 베이스국 구조로서, 상기 구조는, 지역 가입자 유니트의 세트로 송신하고, 원격 배치된 수신 국을 갖는 개별적 가입자간의 지점간 통신을 위한 가변 길이의 디지탈 데이타 메시지와 동기적으로 지점간 통신을 위한 가변 길이의 디지탈 데이타 메시지와 동기적으로 관련되고 중복되는 이러한 지역 가입자의 서브세트로부터 수신하는 베이스 국 처리 및 송신 설비와 베이스 국 지리적 영역으로부터 분리되고, 베이스 국 지리적 영역을 통해 분산되며, 분할된 셀 사이트 영역의 범위네에서 지역 가입자 유니트로부터 송신된 저 전력 디지탈 메세지만을 수신하도록 채택되는 셀 분할 사이트의 세트를 포함하는 베이스 국에서 지역 가입자 유니트의 세트로부터 데이타 메시지를 수신하고 처리하는 베이스 국 수신 수단과; 상기 중복된 메시지 송신에 대해 타이밍이 맞추어지고 상기 텔레비젼 방송 신호에 동기적으로 관련되는 가변 길이의 디지탈 데이타 신호를 통해서 상기 베이스 국과 통신되도록 각각 사용되는 베이스 국 지리적 영역내에서 위치된 저 전력 이동 유니트를 포함하는 지역 가입자 트래시버 유니트의 세트로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 허브 스위칭 센터는 상기 베이스 국으로부터 원거리에 위치되어지고, 상기 네트워크는 상이한 지리적 영역에 위치된 다수의 베이스 국을 포함하고, 상기 베이스 국 및 네트워크에서, 상기 사전 결정된 베이스 국 지리적 영역내에 지역 가입자 유니트 및 상기 허브 스위칭 센터를 통해 상이한 지리적 영역에 위치된 베이스 국의 근처에 위치된 다른 가입자간의 지정된 디지탈 데이타 메세지를 통신하기 위한 데이타 처리 설비를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 가입자 송신 프레임의 시퀀스를 포함하는 식별된 가입자 유니트로부터 디지탈 메세지 패킷을 저장하고 재송신하도록 동작하는 상기 베이스 국 데이타 처리 설비내의 메세지 누적 수단과, 위성에 의해 허브 스위칭 센터로 디지탈 패킷의 재전송을 위한 처리 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 2,560Kbaud에서 베이스 국으로부터 가입자 메시지 데이타 비트 출력을 처리하는, 베이스 국으로부터 허브 스위칭 센터까지 메시지를 전달하는 가입자 유니트 관리 및 송신 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, n개의 분리된 상기 셀 사이트 및 상기 n개의 셀 사이트로부터 메시지를 누적시키고 n번의 2,560Kbaud의 메시지 데이타 비트 용량에서 상기 송신 수단을 통해 누적된 메시지를 송신하는 어셈블링 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.

  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 각각의 지역 가입자 유니트는 고정된 길이 송신 프레임의 시퀀스에서 송신을 위한 가변 길이 디지탈 메세지를 분해시키는 디지탈 메세지 조직 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 셀 분할 사이트에서 수신 전용 국 및 상기 셀 분할 수신-전용 국중 단일 하나를 통한 경로를 통해 송신을 위한 통신 메세지를 핸드-오프시키도록 베이스 국 및 가입자 유니트를 동작시키는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 다수의 주파수 밴드에서 송신되도록 동작가능한 가입자 유니트 및 상이한 분할 사이트에서 상기 주파수 밴드 중 상이한 하나에서 동작가능한 수신-전용 수신기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
  15. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크에서 다수의 베이스 국중 하나를 포함하고, 상이한 베이스 국의 네트워크 경로를 통한 통신을 위해 베이스 국 지리적 영역내에서 가입자 유니트로부터의 통신을 핸드 오프하는 설비를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스 국 구조.
