Abstract

기판 표면상에 스퍼터링 방법에 의해 연속적으로 형성된 투명성 플라스틱 기판, 질화규소의 제1유전체층 및 기록층을 포함하는 광자기 기록매체의 개선된 제조 방법이 제안되어 있는데, 이에 의하면 감소된 경사와 같은 뛰어난 기계적 특성을 가지는 기록매체에서 비트-오차율을 크게 감소시킬 수 있도록 하기 위하여 기판 표면과 제1유전체층간의 결합력을 50 내지 400g/cm에서 적절히 조절할 수 있다.이러한 개선은 제1유전체층의 스퍼터링 침착에서, 타켓과 기판 표면사이의 거리를 30nm 내지 75nm로 유지하고, 제1유전체층을 형성하기 위한 질화규소의 기판 표면에 대한 침착 속도를 1nm/초 내지 15nm/초로 조절함으로써 수득할 수 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 플라스틱 수지로 만든 투명성 기판, 질화규소의 제1유전체층 및 기록층을 기판 표면과 마주보는 타켓과 함께 진공 체임버내에서 행해진 스퍼터링 방법에 의해 기판의 한 쪽 표면상에 연속적으로 형성시키며, 이 때 타켓과 기판 표면사이의 거리를 30nm 내지 75nm로 유지하고, 제1유전체층을 형성하기 위해 기판 표면에 대한 질화규소의 침착 속도를 1nm/초 내지 15nm/초로 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록매체의 제보 방법.
  2. 기판 표면과 질화규소의 제1유전체층사이의 결합력을 테이프 박리시험에 의하여 50g/cm 내지 400g/cm로하고, 타켓과 기판 표면사이의 거리를 30mm 내지 75mm로 유지하고, 제1유전체층을 형성하기 위한 질화규소의 기판 표면에 대한 침착 속도를 1nm/초 내지 15nm/초로 조절시킴으로써 기판 표면과 마주보는 타켓과 함께 진공 체임버내에서 행해진 스퍼터링 방법에 의해 질화규소의 제1유전체층을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 기판 표면의 한 면상에 연속적으로 형성된 플라스틱 수지로 만든 투명성 기판, 질화규소의 제1유전체층 및 기록층을 포함하는 광자기 기록매체.
