Abstract

본 발명은 탄화규소 분말을 제조하기 위해 증기화 폴리실록산을 단일 가열 단계에서 반응 및 열분해 시키는, 탄화규소 분말의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 당해 방법은 간단하고 저렴하며, 바람직한 특성을 갖는 분말을 제공한다.

Claims (5)

  1. 증기화 폴리실록산을 반응 챔버에 도입하고, 폴리실록산 증기를 반응 챔버내에서 0.01초 내지 30분 동안 1600℃이상의 온도로 가열하여 탄화규소 분말을 형성시키며, 탄화규소 분말을 수거함을 포함하는, 탄화규소 분말을 제조하기 위한 단일단계 가열방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 폴리실록산이 (a)일반식[R2SiO]n의 사이클릭 폴리실록산(여기서, R은 각각 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 탄소수 1내지 6의 탄화수소이고, n은 3내지 8의 정수이다) 또는 (b)일반식 R3Si-O-[R2SiO]n-SiR3의 선형 폴리실록산 (여기서, R은 각각 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 탄소수 1내지 6의 탄화수소이고, n은 0내지 8의 정수이다)을 포함하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 폴리실록산이 구조식[(CH3)2SiO]n의 사이클릭 폴리실록산(여기서, n은 3내지 8이다)을 포함하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 증기화 폴리실록산이 불활성 기체중에 존재하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 반응 챔버의 압력이 0.1 내지 202.6kPa(0.001내지 2atm)인 방법.
