Abstract
행정분 및 펄스폭 변조를 결합한 그레이 스케일 프린팅에 관한 것이다. 공간 광 변조기(102)는 주어진 라인 시간안에 PWM을 수행하도록 지정된 1개 라인(104)를 갖는다. 변조기(106)의 다른 영역은 보다 많은 그레이 레벨을 고려하여, 프린트 영상상의 행적분을 수행하도록 지정된 라인들을 갖는다. 부가적인 영역(108)이 조사 형상 및 프린트 영상내의 결함들을 수정하기 위해 지정될 수 있다.

제1도는 행 적분 및 수정 행 적분 영역을 갖는 이진 공간 광 변조기 표면상의 행의 펄스폭 변조를 도시한 블럭도,
제2a도 ~제2e도는 요소들의 라인안에서의 장치 표면상에 데이타 이동도를 도시한 도면,
제3도는 데이타 로드 및 재설정 스퀸스의 타이밍 다이어그램,
제4도는 노출 시간의 막대 그래프.
Claims (6)
- a. 공간 광 변조기의 영역 안의 행 안에서 펄스폭 변조를 수행하는 단계, 및 b. 펄스폭 변조를 수행한 상기 행을 포함하지 않는 공간 광 변조기의 적어도 한 영역안에서 행병합을 수행하며 행병합이 그레이 레벨의 정수 부분을 결정하고, 상기 펄스폭 변조가 프린트 영상에 대한 상기 그레이 레벨의 분수 부분을 결정하도록 하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그레이 스케일 프린팅 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 펄스폭 변조 영역 및 상기 행병합 영역 이외의 상기 변조기 영역의 다른 영역에서 상기 프린트 영상에 대한 수정을 행하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그레이 스케일 프린팅 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 펄스폭 변조가 이진 펄스폭 변조인 것을 특징으로 하는 그레이 스케일 프린팅 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 펄스폭 변조가 대칭 펄스폭 변조인 것을 특징으로 하는 그레이 스케일 프린팅 방법.
- 그레이 스케일에 대한 펄스폭 변조 방법에 있어서, a. 공간 광 변조기의 행 안의 각 요소를 라인 시간 간격의 중심에 대해 대칭인 특정 시간 간격에 대응하는 데이타로 로딩하는 단계, 및 b. 상기 중심에 대해 대칭인 여러 시간 간격들에서 장치를 재설정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 공간 광 변조기가 디지탈 마이크로미러 장치인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
