Abstract

[목적] 본 발명은 계조 표현 방법에 있어서, 온 오프형 공간 광 변조 소자(2)를 사용해서 계조 표현할 때, 플리커의 발생을 유효하게 희피해서 다계조를 확실히 표현한다.
[구성] 온 오프형 광 변조 소자(2)를 사용해서 계조 표현할때, 광의 강도를 변조할 수 있는 광원(6) 또는 광원으로부터의 광의 강도를 변경하는 변조 수단을 사용해 화상데이타의 화소마다의 계조에 응해서 광원(6)으로부터의 광을 광강도 변조해서 계조 표현하도록 했다.

본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 의한 계조 표현 방법을 실시하는 화소표시 장치의 구성을 나타내는 블록도,
제2(A)도 내지 제2(F)도는 펄스폭 변조에 의해 계조 표시 방법의 설명에 제공하는 타이밍챠트,
제3(A)도 내지 제3(F)도는 본 발명에 의한 계조 표시 방법의 제1실시예의 설명에 제공하는 타이밍챠트.

Claims (4)

  1. 화상데이타의 화소에 응해서 배치된 온 오프형 공간 광 변조 소자를 사용한 화상 표현 장치로 계조를 표현하는 계조 표현 방법에 있어서, 광의 강도를 변조할 수 있는 광원을 사용해 상기 화상데이터의 상기 화소의 마다의 계조에 응해서 상기 광원으로부터의 상기 광을 광강도 변조해서 계조 표현하도록 것을 특징으로 하는 계조 표현방법.
  2. 화상데이타의 화소에 응해서 배치된 온 오프형 공간 광 변조 소자를 사용한 화상 표현 장치로 계조를 표현하는 계조 표현 방법에 있어서, 광원으로부터의 광의 강도를 변경하는 변조 수단을 사용해, 상기 화상 데이타의 상기 화소마다의 계조에 응해서 상기 광원으로부터의 상기 광을 광강도 변조해서 계조 표현하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 계조 표현 방법.
  3. 화상 데이터의 화소에 응해서 배치된 온 오프형 공간 광 변조 소자를 사용한 화상 표현 장치로 계조를 표현하는 계조 표현 방법에 있어서, 광의 강도를 변조할 수 있는 광원을 사용해, 상기 화상 데이타의 상기 화소마다의 계조에 응해 상기 온.오프형 공간 광 변조 소자를 펄스폭 변조함과 함께 당해 광원으로 부터의 상기 광을 광강도 변조해서 계조 표현하도록 항 것을 특징으로 하는 계조 표현 방법.
  4. 화상 데이타의 화소에 응해서 배치된 온 오프형 공간 광 변조 소자를 사용한 화상 표현 장치로 계조를 표현하는 계조 표현 방법에 있어서, 광원으로부터의 광의 강도를 변경하는 변조 수단을 사용해, 상기 화상 데이타의 상기 화소마다의 계조에 응해서 상기 온 오프형 공간 광 변조 소자를 펄스폭 변조함과 함께 당해 과아원으로부터의 상기 광을 광강도 변조해서 계조 표현하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 계조 표현 방법.
