Abstract

광자기 기록 매체는 실온에서 면내 자화를 나타내는 한편, 광빔의 조사에 따라 소정 온도 이상으로 상승하면, 면내 자화로부터 수직 자화로 이행하는 독출층과, 정보를 광자기 기록하는 기록층과, 실온으로부터 큐리 온도까지 면내 자화를 나타내는 중간층과, 기록층 보다도 높은 큐리 온도를 갖고, 동시에 실온에서의 보자력이 기록층 보다도 낮은 보조층을 구비하고 있다. 광변조 방식에 다른 기록을 행할 때에, 중간층이 자화벽으로 되고, 기록층이나 보조층이 자화벽으로 되는 것을 방지해 양호한 기록을 행한다. 또 재생 동작시, 광빔의 중심부 이외의 부분의 독출층이 면내 자화를 나타내고, 기록층을 마스크함으로써, 잡음의 원인인 인접의 기록 비트로 부터의 신호의 혼입을 증대시키지 않고, 기록 비트를 작게하여 기록 밀도를 향상시킬 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 한 실시예의 광자기 디스크의 구성을 도시하는 도면, 제2도는 상기 광자기 디스크의 독출층(읽어냄)의 자기 상태도, 제3도는 실온으로부터 온도 T1에 있어서, 상기 독출층에 인가되는 외부 인가자계와 자기 케르(Kerr)회전각과의 관계를 도시하는 설명도, 제4도는 온도 T1으로부터 온도 T1에 있어서, 상기 독출층에 인가되는 외부인가 자계와 자기 케르 회전각과의 관계를 도시하는 설명도, 제5도는 온도 T2로 부터 온도 T2에 있어서, 상기 독출층에 인가되는 외부 인가 자계와 자기 케르 회전각의 관계를 도시하는 설명도.

Claims (20)

  1. 실온에서 면내 자화를 나타내는 한편, 소정 온도 이상에서는 수직 자화를 나타내는 독출층과, 상기 독출층의 한쪽면에 형성된, 정보가 광자기 기록되는 기록층과, 상기 기록층의, 상기 독출충이 형성된 측과 반대측의 면에 형성된, 실온으로부터 그의 큐리 온도까지 면내 자화를 나타내는 중간충과, 상기 중간층과, 상기 기록층이 형성된 측과 반대측의 면에 형성된, 상기 기록층의 큐리 온도 보다도 높은 큐리 온도를 갖는 것과 동시에 실온에서의 보자력이 상기 기록층의 실온에서의 보자력 보다도 낮은 보조층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 독출층은 희토류 천이 금속 합금을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 히토류 천이 금속 합금은 Gdx(Fe1-yCoy)1-x를 포함하고, x 및 y의 범위는 0.02〈x〈0.35, 0.1〈y〈0.5인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Tbx(FeyCo1-y)1-x를 포함하고, x의 범위는 0.02〈x〈0.30인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Dyx(FeyCo1-y)1-x를 포함하고, x의 범위는 0.24〈x〈0.33인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Hox(FeyCo1-y)1-x를 포함하고, x의 범위는 0.25〈x〈0.45인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  7. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Gd0.26(Fe0.82Co0.18)0.74를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록 매체.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기록층은 DyFeCo를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기록층은 GdDyFeCo를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간층은 GdFeCo를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  11. 실온에서 면내 자화를 나타내는 한편, 소정 온도 이상에서는 수직 자화를 나타내는 독출층과, 상기 독출층의 한쪽면 내에 형성된, 정보를 광자기 기록하는 기록층과, 상기 기록층의 상기 독출층이 형성된 측과 반대측의 면에 형성된, 실온에서 면내 자화를 나타내는 한편, 온도 상승에 따라 면내 자화로부터 수직 자화로 이행하는 중간층과, 상기 중간층의, 상기 기록층이 형성된 측과 반대측의 면에 형성된, 상기 기록층의 큐리 온도 보다도 높은 큐리 온도를 갖는 것과 동시에 실온에서의 보자력이 상기 기록층의 실온에서의 보자력 보다도 낮은 보조층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 독출층은 희토류 천이 금속 합금을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Gdx(Fe1-yCoy)1-x를 포함하고, x 및 y의 범위는 0.02〈x〈0.35, 0.1〈y〈0.5인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Tbx(FeyCo1-y)1-x를 포함하고, x 의 범위는 0.02〈x〈0.30인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
  15. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 천이 금속 합금은 Dyx(FeyCo1-y)1-x를 포함하고, x 범위는 0.24〈x〈0.33인 것을 특징으로 하는 광자기 기록 매체.
