Abstract

통전 또는 테스트 과정 동안 집적 회로(IC)를 고정하기 위한 소켓으로서, 상기 소켓은 다수의 전기 전도성 접점, 부재를 지지하는 베이스를 포함한다. 대향된 하부지지 래치는 베이스에 회동가능하게 연결되고 외부캠을 포함한다. 소켓은 또한 래치 캠과 접촉하여 래치를 효과적으로 회동시키는 일체형 닙을 갖는 가동 상단부를 포함한다. 베이스내에 수용된 회전가능한 레버는 상단부의 이동에 의해 회동가능한 작동 아암과 연결된다. 레버는 접점부재와 작동 가능하게 연결되고 또한 IC 리드와 접촉하는 동작위치와 리드로부터 이격된 대기위치사이에 접점부재들을 이동시킨다.

제 5 도는 제 4 도와 유사한 단면도로서 상단부가 완전히 눌려진 위치에 있는 것을 나타낸 도면.
제 6 도는 제 1 도의 6-6선을 따라 취한 단면도.

Claims (6)

  1. 본체와 상기 본체의 외부로 연장되는 다수의 리드를 구비한 직접 회로를 수용하기 위한 소켓에 있어서, 상기 소켓은 : 베이스와; 상기 베이스내에 수용된 다수의 전기 전도성 접점부재와; 상기 베이스에 회동가능하게 연결되어 상기 집적 회로를 상기 소켓에 고정하는 래치수단과; 상기 베이스에 이동가능하게 연결되어, 상기 집적 회로의 본체 상부에 위치하는 정상적인 걸림 위치와 상기 집적 회로가 제거될 수 있는 상기 집적 회로의 본체로부터 이격된 해제 위치 사이에서 상기 래치수단을 회동시키는 작동이 수단을 포함하며; 상기 작동기 수단은 상기 걸림 위치에서 상기 래치수단과 상기 집적 회로의 리드를 접촉시키는 제 1 위치와 해제 위치에서 상기 래치수단을 상기 직접회로의 리드로부터 이격시키는 제 2 위치 사이에서 상기 전기 전도성 접점부재들을 회동시키기 위한 수단을 구비하는 소켓.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 래치수단은 일체형 종단 캠부분을 포함하여, 상기 작동기 수단은 상기 작동기 수단이 베이스 쪽으로 이동할 때 상기 캠부분과 접촉하는 일체형 돌출부를 포함하는 소켓.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 각 접점부재는 상부 캔티레버형 회동 빔을 포함하며, 상기 상부 캔티레버형 회동 빔은 상기 베이스내에 회전가능하게 수용되고 상기 빔과 작동 가능하게 연결되는 모서리를 갖는 로드와, 상기 로드에 연결된 작동레버를 포함하며, 상기 작동기 수단은 작동기 수단이 베이스 쪽으로 이동할 때 상기 작동기 레버와 접촉하는 돌출부를 포함하는 소켓.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 집적 회로는 캐리어내에 수용되며, 상기 래치수단은 걸림 위치에 있을 때 상기 캐리어 상부에 위치하여 상기 캐리어를 고정하는 소켓.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 베이스에 연결되어 상기 작동기 수단을 상기 베이스에 가동적으로 고정시키는 수단을 포함하는 소켓.
  6. 제 2 항에 있어서, 칩이 캐리어내에 수용되며, 상기 래치수단은 제 1 및 제 2 래치 바를 포함하며, 상기 각 래치 바는 상기 래치수단이 상기 걸림 위치에 있을 때 상기 칩 캐리어 상부에 위치하고 인접하는 소켓.
