Abstract

본 발명은 액정표시소자 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 상하부 판넬 제조한 다음 액정을 주입하고 이후 합작하여 제조함으로 인해 장착한 셀갭 조절이 이루어지지 않아 제조시 수율을 저하시키는 한편 소자의 특성을 저하 시키는 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명은 상기와 같은 종래의 문제점을 감안하여 하부판넬에 일정두께의 간극제층을 스퍼터링 증착법으로 증착하여 액정주입 후 상하부판넬합착시 정확한 셀갭을 조절할 수 있어 제조시 수율을 항상하고 외압에 의한 변형을 방지할 수 있어 소자의 특성을 개선하는 효과가 있다.

Claims (4)

  1. 상하부기판(1'),(1)위에 투명전극(2'),(2)과 배향막(3'),(3)을 형성한 후 배향막(3)위에 간극제층(10)을 형성한 다음 합착하여 액정(5)을 주입 후 절단하여 상하부기판(1'),(1)에 편광판(7'),(7)을 부착하여 제조하는 액정 표시소자 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 간극제층(10)은 마스크(8)를 이용하여 제조하는 액정표시소자 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 간극제층(10)은 스퍼터링 증착법으로 제조하는 액정표시소자 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 간극제층(10)의 두께는 1-5㎛정도로 제조하는 액정표시소자 제조방법.
