Abstract
목적
제1세대는 처음부터 스케일링 팩터의 정보를 받을 수가 없도록 된 더빙시라도 DCT 계수 데이타에서 최적한 스케일링 팩터를 결정할 수 있고 화질의 뒤떨어짐을 방지할 수 있다.
구성
양자화 컨트롤부(3)의 제1블럭(20)에는 DCT 계수 데이타DCTCOEF가 공급된다. 이 제1블럭(20)은 이분목탐색범에 의해 비트레이트를 목표치 이하로 하기 위한 스케일링 팩터 Fn을 구한다.제2블럭(30)에서는 이 스케일링 팩터 Fn에 기인한 복수의 후보에 관해 에러를 최소로 하는 것이 검출된다. 이 검출에서 이전의 스케일링 팩터 정보가 보정치로서 생성되고 이 보정치가 스케일링 팩터 Fn에 대해 가산되어 스케일링 팩터 SF가 생성된다. 이 스케일링 팩터 SF에서 등장화를 위한 양자화가 이루어진다.

제1도는 본 발명을 적용할 수 있는 디지탈 VTR의 기록계 블럭도, 제2도는 본 발명이 적용된 양자화 컨트롤부의 기본적인 구성을 나타내는 블럭도, 제3도는 양자화 컨트롤부의 제1블럭의 일례인 블럭도, 제4도는 제1블럭중의 하나인 컨트롤러의 일례인 블럭도, 제5도는 스케일링 팩터와 에러의 관계의 일례를 나타내는 약선도, 제6도는 양자화 컨트롤부의 제2블럭의 일례인 블럭도, 제7A, 7B 및 7C도는 제1블럭의 변형된 구성의 몇가지 예인 블럭도, 제8도는 제2블럭의 변형예인 블럭도, 제9도는 스케일링 팩터와 비트레이트의 관계의 일례를 나타내는 약선도.
Claims (2)
- 디지탈 비디오 신호를 코사인 변환 및 가변장부호화하는데 있어서, 등장화 단위의 부호화 출력 데이타량을 목표치 이하로 억제하고 이 억제된 디지탈 신호를 기록 매체상의 복수 트렁크로서 기록하게 한 디지탈 비디오 신호 기록 장치에 걸친 양자화 컨트롤 회로와, 위에서 기술한 코사인 변환에서 발생한 계수 데이타가 공급되어 등장화 단위의 부호화 출력 데이타량을 목표치 이하로 하는 스케일링 팩터를 결정하기 위한 제1블럭과, 상기 계수 데이타 및 상기 제1블럭에서 스케일링 팩터가 공급되어 상기 계수 데이타에 존재하는 이전의 스케일링 정보를 축출하고, 상기 제1블럭으로부터의 스케일링 팩터를 보정하기 위한 제2블럭으로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 컨트롤 회로.
- 디지탈 비디오 신호를 코사인 변환 및 가변장부호화 하는데 있어서, 등장화 단위의 부호화 출력 데이타량을 목표치 이하로 억제하고 이 억제된 디지탈 신호를 기록매체상의 복수 트렁크로서 기록하게 한 디지탈 비디오 신호 기록장치에 걸친 양자화 컨트롤 회로와, 그 증대에 대응해서 상기 데이타량이 단조감소하도록 선택할 수 있는 복수의 스케일링 팩터가 준비되고 이 분목 탐색법에 의해 상기 복수의 스케일링 팩터중에서 등장화 단위의 부호화 출력 데이타량을 목표치 이하로 하는 스케일링 팩터를 결정하기 위한 제1블럭과, 상기 계수 데이타 및 상기 제1블럭으로부터의 스케일링 팩터가 공급되어 상기 계수 데이타에 존재하는 이전의 스케일링 정보를 축출하는 것에 의해 상기 제1블럭으로부터의 스케일링 팩터를 보정하기 위한 제2블럭으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 컨트롤 회로.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
